Emil Cureja, Harbour Point, Longford Town, Longford

The recent death has occurred on Monday March 25th, 2019 of Emil Cureja, Harbour Point, Longford town, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by wife Veronika, daughters Maria, Veronika, Renata and Ruzena, son Miro, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he Rest In Peace.

Prayers in Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, on Wednesday March 27th at 6.00pm. Funeral Mass and interment will take place in Slovakia.


Michael Fitzsimons, Killadream, Loughduff, Cavan / Longford

The recent death has occurred on Monday March 25th, 2019 of Michael Fitzsimons, Killadream, Loughduff, Cavan/ Longford, died peacefully at College View Nursing Home, Cavan.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kate, his brother Peter. Sadly missed by his brother Connie, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan on Wednesday evening March 27th from 5pm until 7pm. Removal arriving St. Joseph's Church, Loughduff (Eircode H12F968) on Thursday morning March 28th for Funeral Mass at 11am. Internment afterwards in local cemetery.

Hugh Higgins, Drumadorn, Cloone, Leitrim

The recent death has occurred on Tuesday March 26th, 2019 of Hugh Higgins of Drumadorn, Cloone, Co. Leitrim, at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife; Maureen, sons; Padraig (Mullaghbrack), Timmy and Kevin (Drumadorn), daughters; Fiona Donohoe (Ballinamuck) and Katie Nevin (Cavan), sons-in-law; Brian Donohoe and Gerard Nevin, daughter-in-law; Miranda Graham, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May Hugh Rest in Peace.

Remains to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Cloone on Thursday March 28th at 8.00pm with Funeral Mass on Friday March 29th at 12 noon followed by burial to the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Medical 1, Cavan General Hospital c/o McKeon's Funeral Directors, Cloone. House strictly private at all times please.


Patrick (Paddy) Stokes, 44' Cluain Na Siqhe, Killashee, Longford

The recent death has occurred on Monday March 25th, 2019 of Patrick (Paddy) Stokes, 44' Cluain Na Sighe, Killashee, Longford, suddenly in his 24th year.

Paddy will be forever missed by his heartbroken father and mother Willie and Caroline, partner Kayla, his beloved children Bonnie, Caroline and baby Paddy, brothers Willie and Eamon, sisters Cindy and Fabrisa, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. May you rest in peace Paddy.

Reposing at his home 44' Cluain Na Siqhe, Killashee, Co Longford, on Wednesday March 27th from 10.00am. Removal on Thursday March  28th to arrive to St Mel's Cathedral, Longford for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
