Festive fun, free parking and extended hours at the Longford Centre this Christmas

The Longford Centre will stay open until midnight on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December for last minute Christmas essentials

The Longford Centre is gearing up for a busy Christmas season, with extended opening hours designed to give shoppers more time to enjoy a relaxed and hassle-free festive shopping experience.

Making things even easier during the Christmas rush, the Centre will be offering FREE PARKING up until December 31, 2025.

There’s plenty of festive cheer in store too. A Santa Post Box, delivered by Santa’s elves, is now in place at the Centre, inviting children to send their Christmas wishes straight to the North Pole.

Shoppers can also enjoy a special appearance by Hanlon Art Works on Sunday, December 21, from 1pm to 4pm, and enjoy Arts & Crafts and face painting.

Tesco will remain open later than usual, trading until midnight on Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23, giving extra flexibility for those last-minute essentials.

The Centre will close on Christmas Day (December 25) and reopen on St Stephen’s Day (December 26), with Penneys opening from 12pm to 6pm. The Longford Centre will then close on New Year’s Day (January 1) before reopening on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Individual retailers within The Longford Centre will be operating extended and varied opening hours throughout the festive period, and customers are advised to check directly with stores for specific times. Updates and announcements will also be shared on The Longford Centre’s Facebook page.
