Cathal Brady, Glasgow and late of No. 102 Teffia Park, Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred on Sunday, February 25 in Scotland of Cathal Brady, Glasgow and late of No. 102 Teffia Park, Longford Town, Longford. Son of the late Mai and brother of the late Tommy. Deeply regretted by his loving daughter Veronica and son Seamus and Denise, mother of his children, his father Tom, brothers Michael, Peter and Kieran sisters Teresa, Grace and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives and many friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Saint Joseph's Hospital Chapel, Dublin Road, Longford, this Friday evening, March 9 from 3.30pm with prayers at 5pm, followed by removal to Saint Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 10 at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. 

Nuala Fitzpatrick (née McGarry), Annaly Park, Longford Town, Longford


The death occurred on Monday, March 5 of Nuala Fitzpatrick (nee McGarry), Annaly Park, Longford town.
Beloved wife of the recently deceased Eugene. Nuala will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughter Renee and her partner Dave, sons Mel, Eugene and Gary, daughters-in-law Katie and Marisa, brothers Eugene and James, sister Anne, grandchildren Kitty, Ella, Celt, Ruby, Frances and Dubhaulth, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, on Saturday, March 10 from 5pm until 7pm, with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Sunday, March 11 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. House private please.

David Thorpe, Aughnacliffe, Longford
The recent death has occurred on Tuesday, January 9 of David Thorpe, Aughnacliffe, Longford. Sadly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon's Funeral home on Friday, March 9 from 4pm until 5pm followed by interment in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

Peter O'Donnell, Mobhi Road, Glasnevin, Dublin / Knockloughlin, Longford
The death occurred on Saturday, March 3 of Peter O'Donnell, Mobhi Road, Glasnevin and formerly of Knockloughlin, Longford, suddenly. Predeceased by his father Peadar and his mother Patricia. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family Jean (Uí Fhátharta, Galway) and Bernadine (McGrath, Newtownforbes), brothers Colm (Killoe) and Gerry (Barna), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Removal on Thursday, March 8 to arrive at St Oliver's Church, Cullyfad for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eileen Farrell (née Cassidy), Park Road, Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred on Sunday, March 4 of Eileen Farrell (nee Cassidy), Park Road, Longford, peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her husband Harry, deeply regretted by her loving sons Eamon, Kevin and Noel, daughter Mary, sisters Fran Cribben and Mary Flood, grandchildren Aaron, Devon and Giselle, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.Rest in peace.
Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 8 at 11am in St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford. Burial afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. House Private Please.

The death occurred on Saturday, March 3 of Mary Ann McNerney, Camagh, Abbeylara, Longford. Deeply regretted by her sister Brigid, brother James, niece Linda, nephews Mark and Alan, three grand nieces and three grand nephews, friends and neighbours. May she Rest in Peace.

Margaret (Pearl) Toal (née O'Carroll), Bray Road, Cabinteely, Dublin / Rooskey, Roscommon


The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of Margaret (Pearl) Toal, (née Carroll), “Woodhaven”, Bray Road, Cabinteely, Dublin 18 and formerly of Cloonfour, Rooskey, Co Roscommon, peacefully after a short illness.
Sadly missed by her beloved son Gregory who cared for her so tenderly. She will be greatly missed by her many true friends. She leaves a loving daughter Yvonne and her late husband John, her sisters Lucy and Bernadette, her niece Marylou and her nieces, nephews and extended family. “May the Angels welcome her home”.

The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of Tommy Keville, Trean, Mohill, Co Leitrim, at UCH Galway.
Predeceased by his parents Harry and Patricia and his brother Kevin, beloved husband of Emma and dear father of Kelly McGlynn, Anita McKeon and Thomas Jnr. sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and family, brothers, sisters, sons in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, his adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his home on Thursday, March 8 from 3pm until 10pm. Removal on Friday, March 9 to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Mohill for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of John McGowan, Growtown, Dunshaughlin, Meath/ Cloone, Leitrim, at his home.
Beloved husband of Bridie (nee Govern), son of the late Charlie and Margaret and brother of the late Charlie. John will be sadly missed by his wife Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

PJ Rushe, Birmingham, England and formerly of Cloonfree, Strokestown, Roscommon
The death occurred on Thursday, February 22 of PJ Rushe, Birmingham, England and formerly of Cloonfree, Strokestown, Roscommon, peacefully, aged 84 years.
Beloved father of the late Peter. Dearly missed by his beloved wife Maureen, sons Joseph, Martin and Raymond, daughter-in-law’s Bernadette, Lorraine, Lynda and Marie, his eleven grandchildren, sister Kathleen and his extended family and friends.  May He rest in peace.
PJ will be received into Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Yardley Wood, on Monday, March 12 at 7pm. Funeral Mass is on Tuesday, March 13 at 9.30am. Burial afterwards in New Oscott Cemetery, Sutton, Coldfield. Family flowers only please. A Memorial Mass for P.J. will be held in Ireland at a later date.

William (Bill) Teague, Emper, Ballynacargy, Westmeath
The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of William (Bill) Teague, Emper, Ballynacargy, Westmeath, at St. James' Hospital, Dublin  surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly missed by his wife Patricia, sons Brendan, William, Stephen, daughters Jacinta, Patricia, Sabrina and Lisa, his loving grandchildren and great-grandchild.

The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of Margaret O'Hara (nee McManus), Kilrush, Ballinamore, Leitrim and formerly of Knockmore, Corlough, Cavan, peacefully, after a short illness, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her husband J.P. She will be sadly missed by her son John, daughter Maureen Eivers (Killoe), son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Rachel and Paul, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.

The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of John O'Brien, Newtowngore, Co Leitrim, peacefully at Ballinamore Primary Care Centre.

The death occurred on Sunday, March 4 of Nuala Comaskey (nee Kenny) Stragelliffe, Cavan, peacefully at her home and in the loving care of her family.
Beloved wife of the late Jimmy Comaskey (Garrymore, Ballinagh and Stragelliffe, Cavan). Loving mother of Philip and brother of Sean Kenny. Sadly missed by her loving family, her nephews, nieces, all her relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen and by his sisters Margaret, Mary and Helen. Matthew will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sons Matt and Drew, daughters Kate (Saunders, Ballyleague), Alison (Donlon, Lanesboro), Sharon (Luckie, Tarmonbarry) and Pauline (Mitchell, Scramogue), brother Tommy, sisters Sadie and Kathy, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Removal on Friday, March 9 to arrive at The Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at 2pm. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to The Patient Comfort Fund at Costello Nursing Home, Ballyleague.

Harry Moore, Bealnamulla, Athlone, Roscommon


The death occurred, peacefully at Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon, on Tuesday, February 27 of Harry Moore, Bealnamulla, Athlone, Roscommon, late of South Africa and Greystones, Co Wicklow. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan and recently his twin-sister Joan. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Cara, sons Michael and Conor, sisters Marie and Nan, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace. Requiem mass will be celebrated in St Malachy's Church, Alfred Street, Belfast on Monday morning March 12 at 10am followed by cremation in Roselawn crematorium at 12 noon.
