The owners of a popular car dealership and servicing/valeting garage in Ballymahon have requested planning permission from Longford County Council to expand their unit.

The applicants, Pauric and Linda Connolly, filed an application this week in which they requested permission to construct an extension to their garage/industrial unit.

Also included in the application is the construction of a new parking area outside the garage, which is located in Parkside, Ballymahon.

The gross floor space of the proposed works is 112 sqm.

Longford County Council is expected to return their decision in early March.
