Nuala Fitzpatrick (née McGarry), Annaly Park, Longford Town, Longford


The death occurred on Monday, March 5 of Nuala Fitzpatrick (nee McGarry), Annaly Park, Longford town.
Beloved wife of the recently deceased Eugene. Nuala will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughter Renee and her partner Dave, sons Mel, Eugene and Gary, daughters-in-law Katie and Marisa, brothers Eugene and James, sister Anne, grandchildren Kitty, Ella, Celt, Ruby, Frances and Dubhaulth, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, on Saturday, March 10 from 5pm until 7pm, with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Sunday, March 11 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. House private please.

Peter O'Donnell, Mobhi Road, Glasnevin, Dublin / Knockloughlin, Longford
The death occurred on Saturday, March 3 of Peter O'Donnell, Mobhi Road, Glasnevin and formerly of Knockloughlin, Longford, suddenly. Predeceased by his father Peadar and his mother Patricia. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family Jean (Uí Fhátharta, Galway) and Bernadine (McGrath, Newtownforbes), brothers Colm (Killoe) and Gerry (Barna), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford on Wednesday, March 7 from 5pm until 7pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Thursday, March 8 to arrive at St Oliver's Church, Cullyfad for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eileen Farrell (née Cassidy), Park Road, Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred on Sunday, March 4 of Eileen Farrell (nee Cassidy), Park Road, Longford, peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her husband Harry, deeply regretted by her loving sons Eamon, Kevin and Noel, daughter Mary, sisters Fran Cribben and Mary Flood, grandchildren Aaron, Devon and Giselle, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.Rest in peace.
Reposing at St Joseph’s Hospital Chapel, Dublin Road, Longford on Wednesday evening March 7 from 5.30pm, with prayers at 7pm leaving at 7.30pm to St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 8 at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. House Private Please.

Mary Ann McNerney, Camagh, Abbeylara, Longford
The death occurred on Saturday, March 3 of Mary Ann McNerney, Camagh, Abbeylara, Longford. Deeply regretted by her sister Brigid, brother James, niece Linda, nephews Mark and Alan, three grand nieces and three grand nephews, friends and neighbours. May she Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass at St Bernard’s Church, Abbeylara on Friday March 9 at 12 noon followed by burial in Carra Cemetery.

Anne Bernadette (Nancy) Whelan (née Cotter), Gorey, Wexford / Longford / Dublin
The death occurred on Monday, March 5 of Anne Bernadette (Nancy) Whelan (nee Cotter), Gorey, Co Wexford and late of Co Longford, peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Kiltipper Woods Care Centre.
Beloved wife of the late Jack and dear mother of Paul, Mark, Barry, Kevin, Rory and Leo; she will be sadly missed by her loving sons, her brothers Richard (late), Robert, Nicholas, Maurice and sisters Breda, Maura (late), Siobhan, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Kiltipper Woods Care Centre (Wednesday March 7) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral on Thursday morning March 8 to St Pius Church, Templeogue arriving for 10.00am Mass and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only please. The death occurred on Sunday, March 4 of Luke Kiernan, Boherquill, Lismacaffrey, Westmeath, peacefully at his home.
Predeceased by his sister Madge. The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of Margaret (Pearl) Toal, (née Carroll), “Woodhaven”, Bray Road, Cabinteely, Dublin 18 and formerly of Cloonfour, Rooskey, Co Roscommon, peacefully after a short illness.
Sadly missed by her beloved son Gregory who cared for her so tenderly. She will be greatly missed by her many true friends. She leaves a loving daughter Yvonne and her late husband John, her sisters Lucy and Bernadette, her niece Marylou and her nieces, nephews and extended family. “May the Angels welcome her home”.

The death occurred on Tuesday, March 6 of Margaret O'Hara (nee McManus), Kilrush, Ballinamore, Leitrim and formerly of Knockmore, Corlough, Cavan, peacefully, after a short illness, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her husband J.P. She will be sadly missed by her son John, daughter Maureen Eivers (Killoe), son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Rachel and Paul, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her residence on Wednesday evening March 7 from 6pm until 10pm and on Thursday, March 8 from 2pm until 6pm. Removal to St Patrick's Church, Ballinamore on Thursday evening March 8 arriving at 8.15pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning March 9 at 11am followed by burial in Oughteragh cemetery, Ballinamore.

Beloved wife of the late Jimmy Comaskey (Garrymore, Ballinagh and Stragelliffe, Cavan). Loving mother of Philip and brother of Sean Kenny. Sadly missed by her loving family, her nephews, nieces, all her relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

Harry Moore, Bealnamulla, Athlone, Roscommon


The death occurred, peacefully at Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon, on Tuesday, February 27 of Harry Moore, Bealnamulla, Athlone, Roscommon, late of South Africa and Greystones, Co Wicklow. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan and recently his twin-sister Joan. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Cara, sons Michael and Conor, sisters Marie and Nan, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace. Requiem mass will be celebrated in St Malachy's Church, Alfred Street, Belfast on Monday morning March 12 at 10am followed by cremation in Roselawn crematorium at 12 noon.

Joan O'Connell (née Ellis), Brentwood, Essex and formerly, Mohill, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, Essex following a short illness, on Monday, February 19 of Joan O’Connell (née Ellis) of Brentwood, Essex, and formerly of Mohill, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her sister, Eithne, and brother Gerard. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her sisters Maureen and Carmel, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May She Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing at Bennetts Funeral Directors, Brentwood, Essex. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 8 at 12.30pm at Brentwood Cathedral.
