The death occurred peacefully in Cavan General Hospital after a short illness, in his 89th year on Monday, July 8, 2024 of James Corr, Corglass, Moyne. Predeceased by his parents, George and Mary Kate, brothers Charlie, George and Tom, and sisters Bridgie, Mary, Julia, Josephine, Nora and Helen. Survived by his sister Una, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan (H12C821) on Tuesday, July 9 from 6pm until 8pm, with Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 10 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Legga, Dromard, Moyne. Following Mass, burial will take place in the nearby cemetery.

Marie Heslin, Kilbride Park, Edgeworthstown, Longford

The death occurred on Saturday, July 6, 2024 of Marie Heslin, Kilbride Park, Edgeworthstown and late of Lisnanagh, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. Predeceased by her mother Gerty and father Michael. Sadly missed by her brother Willie, sisters Ellen, Anne and Beatrice, nieces Edel and Elaine, nephews Michael and David, cousins, neighbours and good friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Chapel on Wednesday, July 10 from 11.45am followed by Funeral Mass in Our Lady's Manor Chapel at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully at home on Saturday, July 6, 2024 of Brian Loughran, Farnagh Hill, Longford and formerly of Keady, Co Armagh. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers and most recently, by his sister May. Brian will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Nell, sons Gareth, Richie and B.P., daughters-in-law Mary-Therese and Chantalle, B.P.’s partner Edel, grandchildren Stephanie, Hugo, Eloise, Bowie and Noah, sisters Emily and Bernadette, brothers Francie and Jimmy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May He Rest in Peace.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 5, 2024 of Maureen Moran (née Kelleher) Harbour Street, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and late of Aughintemple, Ardagh, Co Longford.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent, Maureen will be forever loved and dearly missed by her daughters Mary, Anne, Deirdre, Bríd and Niamh, sons-in-law John, Omid and Anthony, her adored ten grandchildren Aisling, Aoife, Emer, Sean, Sam, Rose, Kate, Anna, Lucy and Vincent, sisters Sr Brigid and Margaret, brother Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred peacefully after a short illness at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 7, 2024 of Bernard (Benny) King, Carrickaclevan, Ballinagh, Co Cavan. Predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Kathleen, his brother Pat and his nephew Thomas Moore. The death occurred peacefully, in his 88th year, in the care of the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 7, 2024 of James (Jimmy) McLoughlin, Glenview, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath.

Predeceased by his parents John and Anne, brothers Michael, John, Daniel (Dan) and his sister Mary. Jimmy is sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette and his ten dear children, his sons Patrick, Michael, David, John, Danny, Dermot and Paul and daughters Catherine, Imelda and Bernie-Ann; and sisters Teresa and Olive. He will be lovingly remembered by his 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours in Glenview and his many friends. Predeceased by her husband John, her son Noel and sister Maureen. Beloved mother of Maureen, Sean, Hughie and Angela. The death occurred peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family and dear friends following an illness borne with great courage and dignity on Friday, July 5, 2024 of Patricia Canning (née Egan) Lisdadnan, Mohill, Co. Leitrim (N41XF38) formerly of Kinnitty, Co. Offaly.  

Predeceased by her parents Tim and Joan Egan. Patricia will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Michael and her children Mark (Audrey), Derek (Kelly), Siobhán (Roger), Shane (Deborah), Patrice (John), Gary (Edel), Janka (Joseph), Caillín (Sheila), Eileen, Caoimhe (John), Alex, her 12 adored grandchildren, her sisters Martina Staunton (Kilkenny), Bernadette Spain (Cork), and brothers Jim Egan (Monaghan) Tim Egan (Limerick) and all her brother and sisters in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his wife Patricia (Pat). Lloyd will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughter Sarah McGuire (Moydow), son Dennis (UK), sisters, brothers, daughter-in-law Kathleen, son-in-law Declan, grandchildren Kirsti, Charlotte, Liam, Abbie and Shannon, his three great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of all the staff at UCH, Galway on Thursday, July 4, 2024 of Mary Shanagher (nee Brennan) Cloonfree, Strokestown, Roscommon. Predeceased by her parent's Francis and Molly. Beloved wife and best friend of Joe and much loved mother of David, Thomas and Martin. The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of Fountains Care Home, Rainham, London on Monday, June 24 of Rosetta Reehill (née Reilly) Clonoose, Ballyheelan, Kilnaleck, Cavan. Former Labour Party councillor candidate in Upminster.

Predeceased by her Late husband Gerry Reehill of Longford Town, her sister Anna and brothers Hugh, Packie, Jim & Eddie. Rosetta will be sadly missed by her daughter Loretta, son-in-law John, Velvet, loving friends, family, sisters Kay and Josie, brother John, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Andy, all her extended family, friends & neighbours.

The death occurred peacefully at home, after a short illness, on Friday, June 21 of Hannah Josephine Brennan, (nee O’Regan) of Hornchurch, Essex, England. (Formerly of Carrigleagh, Shanballymore, County Cork). Predeceased by her parents James and Ellen, her husband Patrick (Carrowclogher, Strokestown), daughter Annette, and sister Brid. A dear mother to Helen and Martin. A loving sister of Margaret, Eileen, and Mary. Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by her family. Grandchildren; Ryan, Erin, Megan, Niamh, Edward, Isobel, and Martha, and her great grandchildren; Henry, George, William, Charles, and Jacob, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends. May She Rest in Peace. 

The funeral will take place in Hornchurch, Essex. Requiem mass at St Mary Mother of God Church, on Friday, July 26, at 11am followed by burial at Upminster Cemetery, Ockendon Road, Upminster, Essex.
