Mary Forde (née Igoe), Clondra, Longford / Mayo

The death occurred peacefully at University Hospital, Galway, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 of Mary Forde (nee Igoe) Clondra, Co Longford and formerly of Killoe and New York.

Predeceased by her parents James and Molly, by her brothers Seamus, Packie and Brendan and recently by her beloved husband Mattie (formerly of Bohaunes, Kiltimagh , Co.Mayo). Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Monica (Ennis) and Teresa (Galway), sons Matt (Dublin), Kevin and Brian (New York), brother Vincent (New York), daughters-in-law Therese and Joni, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Justin, Dubheasa , Brianna, Olivia, Michael, Jessica, Matthew, Lexi and Jadi, great-grandchildren Rían, Layla and Séan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Friday, September 5 from 6pm concluding with Prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday September 6 in St Brendan’s Church, Clondra at 10.30am followed by Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium at 4pm. Mary Teresa Keeley (née McArdle), St Columba's Place, Tullamore, Co Offaly / Newtowncashel, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025 of Mary Teresa Keeley (nee McArdle) St Columba's Place, Tullamore, Co Offaly/ Newtowncashel, Co Longford. 

Pre-deceased by her parents Lizzie and Johnny, her son Damien, her little girl and her nephew Michael. Mary Teresa will be sadly missed by her loving husband Peter and family Petrina, Francis and Arleen, sons in law Enda and Mark, daughter in law Karen, her adored grandchildren Alana, Hollie, Ryan, Kyle, Eve, Leah, PJ and Darragh, her brother Sean, sisters Betty and Philomena, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84) on Sunday, September 7 from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Removal on Monday morning, September 8 to the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Liam Dunne, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon / Roscommon town, Co Roscommon

With deepest sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 of Liam Dunne, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon and formerly Antogher Road, Roscommon town.

Cherished son of Róisín and Gary, and much-loved twin brother of Rory and loving brother of Clara. He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his wide circle of friends. Liam will also be remembered for his passion for sport, especially soccer, and for his wonderful sense of humour that brought joy to all who knew him. His sudden departure leaves a void that will never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all of us who loved him. May he rest in peace.

Liam will repose at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday, September 5 from 5pm until 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday morning, September 6 at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon (F42 XT96) followed by burial at St. Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon.

Judy McKeown (née Leddy), Lough view, Cavan town, Cavan / Ballinagh, Co Cavan

The death occurred suddenly but peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 of Judy McKeown (née Leddy), Lough View, Dublin Road, Cavan and late of Marian Row, Ballinagh, Co Cavan.

Pre-deceased by her parents Peter and Kathleen, brothers Brendan and Michael. Sadly missed by her former partner Damian McKeown, her heartbroken daughter Mary (Brian Johnston), son James (Claire), her adored grandchildren Ava, Naoise, Brian Óg, Mia, Max and Klara-May, sisters Bridie (Alphonsus), Cáit, Rose (Tom) and Elizabeth (Ollie), brothers Peter, Oliver (Rowena), Seamus (Joella), Frank and her twin Sean, nephews, nieces relatives and many friends. Reposing at the home of her daughter and son in law Mary and Brian Johnston, Drumlaney, Castlesaunderson, Belturbet H14 FP83, on Friday, September 5 from 5pm to 9pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal on Saturday morning, September 6 at 11.30am to the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim Cavan, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12  noon. Margaret Casserly, Lucan, Dublin / Bornacoola, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Hermitage Clinic, Lucan on Monday, September 1, 2025 of Margaret Casserly, Hillcrest View, Lucan, Dublin and formerly of Currycramp, Dromod, Co Leitrim.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary and her niece Amanda McManamon. She will be very sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Anastasia Quinn, Brid Mc Manamon, Lea Russell (USA) and brother John James (USA), brother-in-law Finbarr and sister-in-law Sheila (USA) her nieces, nephews, former colleagues in Beaumont Hospital, her wonderful neighbours and many friends. Marian Turbitt, St John's Community Hospital, Sligo town, Co Sligo / Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in the Caírde Unit in St John’s Community Hospital Sligo, surrounded by her sisters on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 of Marian Turbitt St John's Community Hospital, Sligo town, Sligo/ Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim.

Marian will be dearly missed by her sisters, Anne Martyn (Corofin, Co Galway), Nuala (Kilclare), Vera (Manorhamilton), brother, Padraig (London), sister in law, Bridget, brother in law , Noel, nieces, Emma and Sara, nephews, Kieran and Brendan, aunt in law Peggy O’Rourke, cousins, especially Declan and friends. May Marian Rest in Peace.

Marian will repose on Friday, September 5 at her sister Nuala’s residence Lisconor, Kilclare (N41PN81) Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim from 4pm-8pm. Funeral will arrive at St Brigid’s Church, Drumcong (N41 CK74) on Saturday, September 6 for 12 noon for requiem mass followed by a private cremation at McGowan’s Crematorium, Collooney, Co. Sligo. Family Flowers only please. Family time only on the morning of Marian’s funeral.

Breege Gallagher (née Mitchell), 3 St Patrick’s View, Mohill, Co Leitrim, N41 AC97

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Aras Carolan Nursing Unit surrounded by her loving family following an illness borne with great courage and dignity on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 of Breege Gallagher (née Mitchell), 3 St Patrick’s View, Mohill, Co Leitrim.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, parents Johnny and Mary-Ann and brother Cathal. Breege will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her devoted children Fiona, Catherine and Ronan; sisters Kathleen, Anne, Mary, Mena; brothers Sean, Kevin and Seamus; sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. May Breege’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Breege will repose at her residence (N41AC97) on Thursday, September 4 from 4pm until 8pm. Removal from Breege’s residence on Friday, September 5 to St. Patrick’s Church, Mohill for funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Eileen Sheppard (née Morgan), Bawnboy, Cavan

The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Javea, Spain on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 of Eileen Sheppard (nee Morgan) Bawnboy, Cavan and Javea, Spain and formerly of Ealing, London.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Keith, her parents John and Eileen, and her brothers James, Richard, and Frank. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her brother Carl Morgan (Kells), her sister Anne McManus (Newtownforbes), the extended Sheppard family, her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours.
