The death occurred, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 of John Murray, Ferefad, Longford Town, Longford, N39 W0V5. Predeceased by his parents, sisters May and Elizabeth, brother Tommy and by his beloved wife Monica. John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Marie and Liz, sons Sean and Brendan, sisters Margaret and Dolores, brother Michael, grandchildren Leonie, Andrew, Michelle, Nicholas, Sarah, John, Stephen, Adam, Emma, Emily and Grace, great -grandchild Aidan, daughter-in-law, son-in-law Mark, Marie’s partner Paul, Sean’s partner Ann, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence (N39 W0V5) on Friday, August 11 from 5pm until 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, August 12 in St Mel’s Cathedral at 3pm. Interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. The Mass will be streamed live please go to www.longfordparish.com Please note the family residence is private outside of reposing times please. The death occurred, peacefully, at his home in the loving care of his family, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 of John Gogan, Granard Road, Edgeworthstown, Longford. Sadly missed by his devoted wife Hazel, his son Patrick (Paddy) and his adored grandchildren Sorcha, Niamh and David, daughter-in-law Majella, sisters-in-law Heather and Hazel, brothers-in-law Willie and Harry, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Removal from his home on Saturday morning, August 12 at 11.45am to St Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery. Funeral Mass may be viewed online here.

The death occurred suddenly on Monday, August 7, 2023 of Michael (Mick) Campbell, Carpenterstown, Dublin and formerly of Finglas, Dublin and Abbeyshrule, Co Longford. Beloved husband and best friend of Deborah (Debbie), cherished father of Mark and Eimear, dear son-in-law of Mary and the late Tom and brother-in-law of the late Gareth Cullen. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Anna, Eimear’s partner James, Niall, Kenneth, Lindsey, Patsy, Jim, John, Gerard, Tommy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home on both Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday evenings, August 10 from 5pm to 8pm. House private outside these hours. Removal to St Mochta’s Church, Porterstown, on Friday morning, August 11 arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. The death occurred peacefully at home on Monday, August 7, 2023 of Mary Foley (née Donohoe), Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, formerly of Kilbarrack Road, Raheny, Dublin, and her childhood home of Granard, Co Longford.
Mary was the much-loved wife of the late John Foley and the beloved mother of Catherine (deceased), Margaret, Con, John, Anne, and Theresa. Adored grandmother of her 10 grandchildren, Michelle, Margaret, Francis, Maria, Anthony, Gary, Alison, Peter, Karen, and Ellen, and her 11 great-grandchildren, her sons-in-law Paul and Frank. Also remembering her daughter-in-law Antoinette at this time. Mary will be greatly missed by all her family. May She Rest in Peace.
Mary will repose in Our Lady’s Manor, Edgeworthstown on Wednesday, August 9 from 4pm to 6pm with prayers at 6pm. She will be removed to Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Greendale Road, Foxfield, Raheny, Dublin 5 to lie in repose on Thursday, August 10 at 3pm to 5pm and on Friday morning, August 11 from 9:30am to 11am. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary and baby granddaughter Eileen. Sadly missed by her devoted husband Oliver, her children Noel (Theresa), Damien (Joan), Annemarie, Finbar (Grainne), Olivia (Seamus), Denise (Liam), her adored grandchildren William, Cian, Oisin, Cormac, Shannon, Enya, Fionn, Fainche, Etain, Orna, Rían, Fiadh and Iarla, her sister Kathy Fegan (Sean), her nephew David, sister in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews in law, former teaching colleagues, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Claire will be sadly missed by her heartbroken parents, brother and sister, uncles, aunt, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown on Thursday, August 10 from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday, August 11 to the Sacred Heart Church, Kilglass, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. The death occurred peacefully, in his 91st year, after a short illness, in Mullingar Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family on Tuesday August 8, 2023 of Gerry McGee, Mohill, Co Leitrim and formerly of Leitrim County Council.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Annie, sister Nancy Flanagan and grandson Eoin Kellegher, Gerry is survived by his wife Anna, daughters and sons-in-law Ann Mulligan (Kevin), Fionnuala Sheehan (Mark), Gráinne Dunne (Ger), Clíodhna Kelleger (Paul) and Orla McKeon (Dermot), brothers Joe and Noel (USA), sister-in-law Mary McGee (USA), adored grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
