Longford County Council has alerted the public to three locations where works are taking place

ALERT: Longford motorists warned to expect delays owing to road works and road closures

Longford motorists are being reminded that they may face some disruption over the coming weeks owing to road closures to facilitate planned works.

Longford County Council has alerted the public to three locations where works are taking place. 

L-10221 Brocklagh townland

The L-10221 Brocklagh townland will be closed from 8am – 4pm from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 25. 

The purpose of these closures is to facilitate planned works under the Roads Programme 2025. Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works. In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs.

RI015 Clooneen L-5007-0   

The RI015 Clooneen L-5007-0 will be closed from 8am – 5pm from Monday, July 14 to Thursday, July 17. 

The purpose of these closures is to facilitate planned works under the Roads Programme 2025. Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works. In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs. 

L-51563 Lechurragh

The L-51563 Lechurragh will be closed from 8am – 4pm from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18. 

The purpose of these closures is to facilitate planned works under the Roads Programme 2025. Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works. In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs.
