All profits from sales at the Ganly's hardware store in Athlone this Saturday, March 5 will be donated to the Irish Red Cross Ukrainian appeal.

Ganly's, who also have stores in Longford and Mountbellew, are encouraging people to 'make a difference, show your support, and shop in Ganly’s Athlone this Saturday. This is not a promotional event for Ganly’s. This is a genuine appeal to raise much needed funds for a country facing the most horrific immediate future."

Michael Ganly revealed that his staff are supporting the appeal and they have already pledged €10,000.

People who shop in Ganly's Longford and Mountbellew will be able to make donations in store on Saturday if they wish to contribute to appeal.
