Long established St Mel's Musical Society member Grainne Fox
Playing Glinda in the current production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, Grainne Fox first joined St Mel's Musical Society in 2000 for Me and My Girl as part of the ensemble.
Since then, she has taken part in My Fair Lady, Cabaret, Carousel, Oliver, The Addams Family, All Shook Up, Footloose and played the parts of Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls and Roz Keith in 9 to 5 and Paulette in Legally Blonde. Last year she was on stage in Me and My Girl again, playing the part of Lady Jacqueline!
She studied Music in UCD and Music Education in UL and Primary Teaching in St. Pat’s and currently teaches 4th class in Killoe NS.
She lives in Granard with her husband and 3 young children and is really excited to play Glinda in ‘The Wizard of Oz’!
