The death occurred, peacefully at Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Thursday, March 24, 2022 of James (Jimmy) Carroll, Knock, Lanesboro, Co Longford.
Deeply loved and very sadly missed by his brother Sylvester (Longford), sister Maureen and brother in law Padraic (Glinsk, Co Galway), adored nieces and nephews Shirley, Elaine, Andrew and Gordon, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, close neighbours and friends. Sadly missed by his dear cousin and best friend Sean. May He Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Farrell's Funeral Home (N39 E761), Lanesboro, on Sunday, March 27 between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, removal to St Mary's Church, Lanesboro, arriving at 7pm (walk-through only, no hand shaking). Mary (Mai) Casey, Derraghanmore, Newtowncashel, Co Longford / Dublin / Monaghan
The death occurred, peacefully, at Midlands Regional Hospital, following a short illness, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 of Mary Casey (Mai) retired S.R.N. Roinn Cosanta Na h'Eireann in her 91st year. Late of Derraghanmore, Newtowncashel, Co. Longford, Dublin and Monaghan.
She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Annie Casey (née Murray), her sister Frances Whearty, her brothers Jim, Sonny and Pat. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Mick and his wife Kathleen, Bill and his wife Sheila, her nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
In accordance with Mai's wishes, cremation ceremony will take place at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Friday, March 25 at 12.30pm. Memorial Mass will be held in Newtowncashel Church of B.V.M. at a date to be arranged.

The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Our Lady's Manor Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown, on Thursday, March 24, 2022 of Mary Flood (nee Loughlin), Garryandrew, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.
Predeceased by her loving husband John Joe and daughter Pauline. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Sandra, sons Liam and John, brothers Desmond, Brian and Colm, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by her family in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Joseph’s Care Centre, on Thursday, March 24, 2022 of Rose Foudy (nee Gilligan), St Mary's Terrace, Longford town.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband Larry, son Colm, sister Kate and son-in-law Frank. Rose will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Mary Dann, Deirdre Clarke, Caroline Herterich, Róisín Doherty and Sharon Mulvey, sons John, Larry, Gerard, Tom and David, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece, relatives and friends. The death occurred, peacefully in the excellent care of the doctors and nursing staff of Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Thursday, March 24, 2022 of Carmel Gaffney, Publican and Undertaker, Main Street, Delvin, Co. Westmeath and formerly Ballyminion, Longford Town, in her 90th year.
Predeceased by her husband Pat, brothers Tom, Mike, Hubert and Noel, sisters Essie and Peggie. Loving mother of John, Mary, Camillus and P.J. Carmel will be dearly missed by her sons, daughter, grandchildren Mark, Peter, Joe, Conor, Niall, Saoirse, Karen, Sean, Darragh, Cathy and Alan, great-grandchildren Charlie, Lauren and Noah, daughters-in-law Martina and Sandra, brothers in law Jim Gaffney (Dublin) and Jimmy Dodds (Birmingham), sisters in law Ann Flanagan (Ballyminion) and Ann Flanagan (Birmingham), nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and her many good and dear friends.
