Janette Devlin, playing the Wicked Witch

Janette Devlin returns to the stage after a 15+ year break, dusting off the broomstick to play the Wicked Witch!

She began her acting journey in Backstage Theatre, performing in many plays and acts and discovering her love for the stage.

Now married and mum to two girls, the Gilmore girl is especially excited for her daughters to finally see her on stage and share the magic with them in the St Mel's Musical Society production.

'This is my first musical, and what a fabulous one to begin with - the music, the energy, and the wonderful cast have made it a joy for me to be part of this production. After years of playing many characters, the leap to Wicked Witch probably says more about growing up than I’d like to admit! '

Janette is delighted to return to the stage, proving that once theatre gets under your skin, it never really leaves... it just waits for you to turn wicked!
