The death occurred, peacefully, following a short illness at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, on Sunday, March 20, 2022 of James (Seamus) Brady, Edenmore, Ballinamuck, Co Longford/ Aughnacliffe, Co Longford.
Son of the late Patrick and Bridie, dearly loved and sadly missed by his family, brother PJ, sisters Catherine, Mary, Dympna and Irene, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, his aunt Katie, extended family, neighbours and friends. May Seamus Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Glennon’s Funeral Home Longford on Wednesday evening, March 23 from 5pm until 7pm (walk through only). Funeral Mass for Seamus will take place on Thursday morning, March 24 at 11am in St Colmcille’s Church, Aughnacliffe followed by cremation at Lakelands crematorium, Cavan at 1.30. Family flowers only please donations if desired to St Joseph’s Hospital patient comfort fund. House Private Please. Please refrain from hand shaking, wear masks and use hand sanitiser. Bridie Gray (née Breslin), Ennybegs, Killoe, Co Longford

The death occurred, peacefully in Mullingar General Hospital surrounded by her family, on Sunday, March 20, 2022 of Bridie Gray (nee Breslin), Ennybegs, Killoe, Co Longford.
She is predeceased by her husband Tom, son Thomas and by her brother and sisters. Bridie will be forever remembered with love by her heartbroken family, sons Paul and James, daughters Anne Halligan, Helen, Breda Murphy and Una Mulligan, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored 15 grandchildren, sister Eilish, sister-in-law Kathleen (USA), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her many good friends. Her nature was loving and giving, Her heart was made of gold, And to us who truly loved her, Her memory will never grow old. Rest in Peace Bridie.
Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church Street, Longford, on Tuesday, March 22 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday, March  23 to St Mary's Church, Ennybegs, for Funeral mass at 12 noon, followed with burial in Aughaboy Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Michael Reilly, Aughabrack, Granard, Co Longford

The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff of Laurel lodge Nursing Home, Longford, on Sunday, March 20, 2022 of Michael Reilly, Aughabrack, Granard, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his wife Eileen (nee Newman), his parents Michael and Bridget and his brother Francie. Michael will be dearly missed by his loving sons Michael and Conal, daughter-in law Anne, brother John Joe, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Mai, nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Reposing at his residence on Tuesday, March 22 from 3pm to 6pm. Removal on Tuesday evening, March 22 to St Mary’s Church, Granard arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, March  23 at St Mary’s Church, Granard at 12 noon followed by Christian burial in Granardkille Cemetery. The death occurred, in the loving care of the staff of University Hospital, Galway, on Saturday, March 19, 2022 of Bro James Casey, (deSales), Redemptorist Community, Esker, Athenry, Co Galway and formerly of Clonfower, Lanesboro, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, his brothers Daniel and Michael, his sister Kathleen Keogh.
Bro James will be sadly missed by his sisters Ann Sharp, Mary McGown, Teresa Diver, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, Redemptorist confreres, extended family and wide circle of friends.
Reposing in Esker Monastery on Tuesday, March 22 from 4pm. Removal at 7pm to Esker Church. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, March 23 at 12 noon, which can be viewed live on www.eskerreds.ie . Burial afterwards in the community graveyard. May He Rest In Peace.

Michael Seery, Edenmore, Ballinamuck, Longford

The death occurred, peacefully in the care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital, on Saturday, March 19, 2022 of Michael Seery, Edenmore, Ballinamuck, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Pakie and Anna May, brothers Jamesie (Australia) and Sean (Lincoln, U.K.). Michael will be sadly missed and remembered by his sisters Mary Catherine (Babs) (Edenmore, Ballinamuck) and Anna Rose (Leeds U.K.), brother Tom (Main Street, Arva), sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Tuesday, March 22 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. (Walk through only). Michael's funeral cortege will leave his residence on Wednesday morning, March 23 at 11.45am to arrive at St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Pauline Shanley (née Hodgins), Belmount, Drumsna, Co Leitrim

The death occurred, peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses, and staff of Sligo University Hospital, on Sunday, March 20, 2022 of Pauline Shanley (née Hodgins) Belmount, Drumsna, Co Leitrim and formerly of Gortaneare, Tynagh.
Predeceased by her parents; Joseph and Mary, brothers; John and Josie Hodgins. Deeply missed by her loving husband John, sisters Maura Ledwidge (Dublin) and Teresa Flanagan (Loughrea), brother Vincent Hodgins (London), sisters-in-law Patricia Towey (Luton) and Rose Collier (Luton), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Sean Meehan, Aughavadden, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim
The death occurred, at his home, following a long illness bravely borne, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 of Sean Meehan, Aughavadden, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim.
Predeceased by his father Mike and his mother Lizzie (nee O’Donnell). Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by his relatives, neighbours and close friends. Rest in Peace.
Arriving at St Mary’s Church, Foxfield (via Keshcarrigan) on Tuesday, March 22 at 12 noon for Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Oughteragh cemetery. Please adhere to Covid guidelines at all times, wearing face masks, socially distancing and refrain from handshaking.
