Kathleen Williams (née Greally), Cnoc na Gaoithe, Lanesboro, Longford


The death occurred, on Wednesday, March 2, of Kathleen Williams (née Greally), Cnoc na Gaoithne, Lanesboro, Co Longford and formerly of Cullentra, Newtowncashel, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband Richard.
Kathleen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Geraldine Coyle (Navan) and Margaret Glancy (Clonmore), sons-in-law Brian and Mark, grandchildren Laura, Aaron, Dylan, Jason and Jack, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home on Friday, March 4 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, March 5 in StMary’s Church, Lanesboro at 11am, interment afterwards in Clonbonny cemetery.

Hubert McCormack, Dublin 2, Dublin / Legan, Longford


The death occurred, suddenly, at St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin 4, on Monday, February 28, of Hubert McCormack, Dublin 2, Dublin and late of Legan, Longford. Hubert, beloved son of Rosie and the late James and loving brother of Marell and the late Bernard. Very sadly missed by his loving family, brother-in-law Iain, sister-in-law Patricia, niece Clare, nephews Ciaran, Michael, Daniel and Declan, his extended family and friends and his colleagues in MDI.
Reposing at his residence on Friday afternoon, March 4 for family and close friends only. Removal on Saturday morning, March 5 to the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road arriving for 11 o'clock Requiem Mass, with Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium.

Joseph McNamara, Aqueduct House, Clonbrin, Abbeyshrule, Longford, N39 D9P6


The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, aged 84 years, on Tuesday, March 1, of Joseph (Joe) McNamara, Aqueduct House, Clonbrin, Abbeyshrule, Co Longford. Joe is predeceased by his father Joe, mother Mary, his brothers Peter and Pat, and his sisters Nancy, Lily, Evelyn and Chrissie. Deeply loved and missed by his devoted wife Winnie, sons John and Robert, and daughters Fiona and Paula. His grandchildren Jessica, Sarah, Declan, Christopher, Bronwyn, Casey, John, Kerry, Conor and Fiona, his daughters-in-law Linda and Angela, sons-in-law Declan and Billy, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Joe will repose at the family home, Aqueduct House, on Wednesday, March 2 from 5pm to 7pm. House Strictly Private at all other times. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 3 at 12 noon in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Abbeyshrule. Burial afterwards in Abbeyshrule Cemetery.

Liam Farrell, Carra, Granard, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully, at his home in the loving care of his family on Monday, February 28, of Liam Farrell, Carra, Granard, Longford. Predeceased by his infant granddaughter Anna Maria, his parents Bill and Delia, his brothers Padraig and Brian, his brothers-in-law David and Paul and his sister-in-law Mary. Sadly missed by his loving wife Ita, his son Camillus, his daughter-in-law Martina and his four adored grandchildren Liam, Emmet, Aisling and Aoibhe, sisters Betty and May, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. May He Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the family home Carra N39C8P3 on Wednesday, March 2 from 5 pm to 8 pm house strictly private at all other times Removal Thursday, March 3 leaving the family home at 11.45am to arrive at St Mary's Church, Granard for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Carra Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society care of Masterson's Funeral Directors or any family members.

The death occurred, peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, on Monday, February 28, of Joe Benson, Thomas Street and formerly of Pulronaghane, Kiltimagh, Mayo / Drumlish, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Nancy, sister Mary, brother Bernard and brother-in-law John Henry. Deeply regretted by his sisters Margaret and Evelyn, brothers-in-law John O’Hara and Ted Shelton UK, nieces and nephews. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the O’Hora Funeral Home, Kiltimagh on Wednesday evening, March 2 from 6.30pm until 8pm. The funeral cortège will leave the funeral home on Thursday morning, March 3 at 11am for Lakelands Crematorium for private cremation. Family flowers only.

The death occurred, peacefully after a short illness at the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, on Saturday, February 26, of Joe Kelly, Derrylough, Kenagh, Co Longford. Predeceased by his infant son Niall ,mother Eileen, father Laurence, son-in-law David, sister Eileen and by his niece Patricia.
Joe will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Nuala, daughters Yvonne and Emer, son Aidan, grandchildren Chloe, Kalum, Cara and Sophia, son-in-law Denis, Aidan’s partner Shania ,sisters Peg, Kaye and Marie, brothers Larry, Edmond and Dessie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The  death  occurred, suddenly & peacefully after a long illness at her residence in England, on Monday, February 28, 2022 of Maureen (Mary) Brady (nee Mimnagh), Wendover, Aylesbury, Bucks, England and late of St Michael's Road, Longford.
Sister of John and Thomas Mimnagh, Longford and Brighton. Predeceased by her parents John Mimnagh & Kate Mimnagh (nee Barden, Ferefad) and brothers Pat London and Longford and Josie Mimnagh, St Michael's Road, Longford. 
Missed by her son Patrick Brady, London and daughter Kathleen Bliss, Hampshire, England, grandsons Daniel Sandford & Brendan Sandford & Michael Bliss Hampshire & Cambridge, nephews, Darren & Joseph Mimnagh & niece Kathy Mimnagh, London, England, brothers and sisters in law, Abbeylara. May her soul rest in peace.

Lucy Fallon Moran, Sallins, Kildare / Athlone, Westmeath


The death occurred, peacefully, in the tender care of St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin, on Monday, February 28, 2022 of Lucy Fallon Moran, Sallins, Co. Kildare and formerly of Coolaleena, Glasson, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Sadly missed by her loving husband Cormac, adoring daughters Luchia and Lauren, her parents Mary and Alick, brother Paul, sister Teresa, Sharon and Joan, parents-in-law Deirdre and Sean, brothers-in-law Dave and Darren, sister-in-law Katrina, nieces Louise and Izzy, nephews Adam, Noah, Liam, Luca and Rio, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, relatives and many many friends. May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her parent's residence (Coolaleena, Glasson, N37 YY30) on Wednesday evening, March 2 from 4pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, March 3 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tubberclaire at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
Lucy's family are very mindful of the risk of spreading Covid-19, and those attending the funeral are respectfully requested to observe social distancing, wear a face covering at all times and avoid shaking hands and hugging. Margaret O'Sullivan (née Cooney), Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex, London and formerly of Ballycaher, Ballintubber, Roscommon / Beaufort, Kerry

The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at her home in London, after a short illness, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 of Margaret O'Sullivan (nee Cooney), The Avenue, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex, London TW16 5EH and formerly of Ballycaher, Ballintubber, Castlerea, Co Roscommon.
Dearly loved wife of Pat (formerly of Ballyledder, Beaufort, Co Kerry), much loved mother of Christopher and Martin, adored grandmother to Morgan and Quinn and mother-in-law to Verity. Predeceased by her parents Martin and Christina, sisters-in-law Geraldine and Noreen and brother-in-law Jimmy. Sadly missed by her sisters and brothers Marie (Lanesboro), Imelda (Coosan, Athlone), Pat (Ballycaher), John (Mount Plunkett, Lecarrow) and Vincent (Ballintubber), her aunt Lizzie Conboy (Ballintubber), sisters-in-law Teresa, Mary and Anne, brothers-in-law John and Jerry, nieces, nephew, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, and many great friends in Ireland and UK. The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, Berkshire UK aged 83 years, on Sunday, February 13, 2022 of Patrick Anthony Mc Adden, Caversham, Reading, UK and late of Rathowen, Westmeath.Tony, predeceased by his parents James & Elise McAdden (nee Kearney) of Rathowen, and his sisters Maureen, Philomena and Anne. Loving husband of Liz, Tony will be deeply missed by his children Marc, Kelly, Stephen, Emma, Tilly and Lucy, His grandchildren, Conor, Matilda, Colm, Oliver, Betty, Luke, Ursula, Henry, Flick, Martha, Edward and Anthony, his great granddaughter Freya, his brothers and sisters Eilish, Seamus, Sean, Sheila and Michael, his extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Loving Husband, Daddy, Brother, Father-in-Law, Uncle and cousin. Masterful accordion player, lover of music and the craic. No one left the home of Tony and Liz hungry or thirsty either in spirit or body. Tony will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
