The death occurred on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 of Hugh Boyle, Fardromin, Ballinamuck, Co Longford. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, wife Mary, son John, daughter Lisa, sisters Alice and Mary (London) grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, February 24 at 11am in St Patrick's Church, Ballinamuck, followed by burial in Ballinamuck new cemetery. House private, please.

Mary (Molly) Whitney, Cloonmacart, Drumlish, Longford
The death occurred, in Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Monday, February 21, 2022 of Mary (Molly) Whitney, Cloonmacart, Drumlish, Longford. Deeply regretted by her cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing this Wednesday evening, February 23 in Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Co Longford from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon, February 24 to St Mary's Church, Drumlish for funeral mass at 1pm followed by burial in the old cemetery.
Following the funeral mass there will be a walk through to allow for condolences to family members. In order to keep everyone safe please continue to adhere to mask wearing and social distancing, no handshaking.


Bridget Small (née Ward), Crewe, England and formerly, Longford


The death occurred, in England, on Friday, January 28, 2022 of Bridget Small (née Ward), Crewe, England and formerly Trumra Road, Granard and Ferefad, Longford. She is predeceased by her husband James, parents Ted and Teresa, brothers James, Edward, Jo and Michael.
Bridget will be forever remembered with love by her family, sons Enda, Kevin, James and Declan, daughter Korena, brothers and sisters, John (Longford), David (Killoe), Mary (UK) and Celine (UK), daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends here in Ireland and England. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.
Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home on Thursday, February 24 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Granard, on Friday, February 25 at 12 noon, followed by interment of Ashes in Granardkill Cemetery.

Nancy Cooney (née Davis), Main Street, Drumlish, Co Longford


The death occurred, prior to her 90th birthday, peacefully at her residence after a short illness surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, February 21, 2022 of Nancy Cooney (nee Davis), Main Street, Drumlish, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband Frank, sister Mary (Rogers), brothers John, Philip, Pat-Joe and Anthony. Deeply regretted by her daughters Mary and Martina, sons-in-law David and Hugh, grandchildren Daniel and Laura, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Removal from her residence on Wednesday, February 23 for 12 noon mass in St Mary's church, Drumlish followed by burial in local cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Longford Hospice. Following the funeral mass there will be a walk through to allow for condolences to family members. Michael Lord, Corduff, Dublin / Granard, Co Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital, on Sunday, February 20, 2022 of Michael Lord, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Aughnagarron, Granard, Co Longford.
Michael, beloved husband of Bridie and dear father of John, Darren and Julie. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Stacey, Jamie, Samantha, Eadaoin, Jack, Josh and Sophie, son-in-law Slim, daughter-in-law Amanda, brothers Gerry and Kevin, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday evening, February 22 from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning, February 23 to St Patrick’s Church, Corduff arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am then to St Mary’s Church, Carra, Co. The death occurred, peacefully, at Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Friday, February 18, 2022 of Margaret Sides (née Burrows), 1 Goldsmith Meadow, Edgeworthstown, Longford and Florencecourt, Fermanagh. Dearly beloved wife of the late Canon James Robert, loving mother of Elizabeth, Patricia and Philip, dear sister of Mary, doting Granny Margaret to Rumi (and honorary granny to Laelah). Beloved to all who knew her. Love never ends 1 Cor 13 v 8.
Reception service of remains will be held in St John’s Church Edgeworthstown on Tuesday, February 22 at 3.30pm. Funeral Service in St John’s Church, Florencecourt on Wednesday, February 23 at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. Lynda will be sadly missed by her partner Michael Evans, her son Philip (Anne), daughters Joanne (Andy), Maria (Andy) and her adored grandchildren Eloise, Harry, Owen, Jasper, Chloe and Alfie, extended family neighbours and friends.
