Ross McCann, Melview Glen , Melview, Longford Town, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, January 27 of Ross McCann, Melview Glen , Melview, Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by his father Harry, mother Mary and his sister Ruth. Ross will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Sinéad, sons Gavin, Patrick and Ben, brother Henry, father-in-law Dessie, mother-in-law Marian, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Tuesday, January 29 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday, January 30 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2.15pm.
Family flowers only please donation if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund at The Oncology Unit at Cavan General Hospital,c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member.

Tommy Mollaghan, Clontumpher, Ballinalee, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in his 94th year, and in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of Our Lady’s Manor Private Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown, on Friday, January 25 of  Tommy Mollaghan, former cattle dealer and farmer, Clontumpher, Ballinalee, County Longford. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Nan, daughters Margaret McNerney and Annmarie Carberry, son Seamus, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, granddaughters, great-granddaughter, sister Maryann Whitney, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and good friends.Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass on Monday, January 28 at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church, Ennybegs. Burial afterwards in Kilmahon Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Manor Patient Comfort Fund care of Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Longford or any family member.

Bridie Fitzmaurice (née Murray), 8 Marian Villas, Ballymahon, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in Ballinasloe Hospital, on Saturday, January 26 of Bridie Fitzmaurice (née Murray), 8 Marian Villas, Ballymahon, Longford. Predeceased by her husband Tom, and deeply regretted by her sons and daughters, Mary, Eddie, Pat, Julie, Carmel, Joe, Tommy, Mark and Pascal, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Annette, Lena, Mary and Tess, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing this Monday afternoon, January 28 in her daughter Carmel’s residence - No 9 Slí Na Mona, Ballymahon from 3pm until 7pm. House private on Tuesday morning, January 29 please. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 11am in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon followed by burial in Shrule Cemetery.

Frank Kiernan, Carnagh, Kilcogy, Cavan
The death occurred, suddenly, at the General Hospital Cavan, on Saturday, January 26 of Frank Kiernan, Carnagh, Kilcogy, Cavan. Predeceased by his wife Rita. Sadly missed by his loving children Cathrina (O'Reilly), Briege (Sharpe), Sean, Francis and Martin, brother Tony (Newry), grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May he Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his home on Sunday, January 27 from 3pm until 10pm and on Monday, January 28 from 12 noon until 4pm. Removal arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Mullahoran at 7pm on Monday evening. Funeral mass on Tuesday, January 29 at 11am. Interment afterwards in local cemetery. Family flowers only. House private at all other times please.

Rose Heffernan (née McGlynn), Ballyboy road, Kilcormac, Offaly / Castlepollard, Westmeath
The death occurred, peacefully, at St Carthage’s Nursing Home, Mucklagh, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, January 24 of Rose Heffernan (nee McGlynn), Ballyboy road, Kilcormac, Offaly and formerly of Coole, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Joe, children Anne, Josie, Pauline and John, her sister Bridget Feeney, sons in-law Maurice, Christy and George, daughter in-law Anne,grandchildren Niamh, Sharon, Orla, Conor, Daniel, Ellie and Lucy, sister's in-law Hannah and sister Anne, brother's in-law Alo and John, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. ‘May Rose rest in peace’.
Removal on Monday morning January 28 arriving at the church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Kilcormac for 12 noon funeral mass followed by burial to Saint Joseph's cemetery Kilcormac. Family flowers only please donations in lieu to the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.
