The death occurred on Friday, March 9 of Ita Mulvihill (nee Judge), Lisaniskey, Ballymahon, Longford who passed away at her home at Lisaniskey, Ballymahon, Co. Longford.
Beloved wife of the late Brian Mulvihill and much loved mother of David, Desmond, Lisa and Bernard. Sadly missed by her sisters Elsie, Bridie and Mary, daughters-in-law Áine and Emma, son-in-law Kealan, grand children Brian, Sadhbh, Millie, Charlie, George, Harry and Alannah and dearest friend and companion George. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her home on, Tuesday afternoon March 13, from 3pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 14 in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon at 11am followed by burial in Kilcommock Cemetery
Rev Fr Patrick Moran, Ballyleague, Roscommon / Lanesboro, Longford
The death occurred on Sunday, March 11 of Rev Fr Patrick Moran, Ballyleague, Roscommon and formerly of Carraroe, Lanesboro, Co Longford, Pastor Emeritus, Diocese of Duluth, Minnesota, USA, peacefully at The Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by his parents John and Hannah, his brothers John and Phonsie and his sister Hannah (Curran). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters Margaret (Kilroy) and Sr Evelyn, his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, the staff of Innis Ree Lodge and his many friends.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford on Tuesday, March 13 from 3pm until 5.15pm with prayers at 4pm. Removal to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Lanesboro at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday March 14 at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Cashel Cemetery. Requiescat in pace.
Paddy Duffy, St Brigid's Terrace, Mullingar, Westmeath / Ardagh, Longford
The death occurred on Saturday, March 10 of Paddy Duffy, St Brigid’s Terrace, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and late of Coolcaw, Ardagh, Co Longford and former staff of St Loman’s Hospital, Mullingar, suddenly but peacefully at his home.
Beloved husband of the late Maura and dear father of Joe, Michael, Angela, Patrick, James, John, Monica and Martin.
He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted family, his much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law Monica, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Paddy rest in peace.
Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 13 from 3pm followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 14 at 10am followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. Family flowers only please; donations if desired, to St Vincent de Paul.

The death occurred on Monday, March 12 of James ‘Jimmy’ Duke, Caggle, Strokestown, Roscommon, peacefully at Roscommon University Hospital, in his 91st year.
Beloved husband of Bridie and loving father of Paul,James, Ciaran, Audrey and Breda. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife and family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Tara, David, Brendan, Evan, Finn, Ailish, Marcus and Slaine, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred on Monday, March 12 of Margaret ‘Maggie’ Beirne (nee Kearns), Cloonshannagh, Drummullin, Elphin, Roscommon, peacefully, surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey.
Wife of the late Austin. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Martin, Charlie and Brian, daughters-in-law Mary, Angela and Caroline, cherished grandchildren Roisin, Lorcan, Catriona, Alan, Dylan, Ciaran, Oran and Chloe, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband James, son; Padraig and daughter; Maura Conaty. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her daughter; Aine, son; Liam, son-in-law; Tom Conaty, grandchildren; Paul, David, Stephen and Aisling, great-grandson; Tommy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
