The death occurred on Thursday, February 22 of Celine Nally (nee McCann), Moigh, Ballymahon, Longford, peacefully in the care of the management and staff at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her husband Frank (ex ESB). Sadly missed by her daughters Mary and Irene (Connolly), sons Eddie, Frank and Mel, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in Peace.
Reposing in Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon, on Saturday, February 24 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm followed by removal at 7pm in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon. Funeral Mass on Sunday, February 25 at 11.30am followed by interment in Carrickedmond Cemetery.
Fergal McGuinness, Abbeycartron, Longford town, Longford
The death occurred on Friday, February 23 of Fergal McGuinness, Abbeycartron, Longford town, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Kathleen and dear father of Mary (O’Boyle), Peter, Aideen and Kevin.
Fergal will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, brothers Gerry, Kieran, Aiden and Michael, sisters Marie, Joan, Gertrude, Breda and Colette, son in law Martin, daughters in law Michelle and Tracy, brothers in law, sisters in law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral home, Ballinalee Road on Monday, February 26 from 5pm until 8pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday, February 27 to arrive at St Mel’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery. Family flowers only please donations if desired to Longford Hospice, c/o Glennon Funeral Home or any family member. House private please.
Patrick Darcy, Glasnevin, Dublin
The death occurred on Wednesday, February 21 of Patrick Darcy, Glasnevin, Dublin, peacefully after a short illness at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
Patrick, beloved husband of the late Laura and loving father of Aileen, Fergus and Declan. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law, Kathleen and Siobhan, grandchildren Peter, Eoin, Aoife, Niamh, Kate and Emmett, great-grandchildren Darragh and David, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace.
Removal on Saturday evening February 24 from his residence to the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin, arriving at 5.15pm. Funeral on Monday morning February 26 after 10am Mass to Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu, to the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (R.N.L.I.).

Edward ‘Eddie’ Boland, Ashbrook, Scramogue, Roscommon
The death occurred, peacefully at Bradford Royal Hospital, England, on Monday, January 22 of Edward ‘Eddie’ Boland, Ashbrook, Scramogue, Roscommon. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Bridget and his brothers Tom, Peter and Frank and his sisters Eileen, Margaret and Bridie. He will be sadly missed by his brother Jim, sisters Mary and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest In Peace.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at St Joseph's RC Church, Manchester Rd, Bradford on February 1, followed by cremation. A memorial Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul in St Anne's Church, Scramogue on Saturday, February 24 at 11am. Interment of his ashes afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
