The death occurred, peacefully at Costello’s Nursing Home, Ballyleague, on Saturday, January 20 of Kathleen Casey, Mahoraveen, Lanesboro, Longford. Predeceased by her father Martin, mother Annie and brother Joseph. Deeply regretted by her sister Mary Tess, cousins, neighbours and friend R.I.P.
Reposing at Farrell’s Funeral Home Lanesboro on Monday, January 22 from 5pm to 6:30pm. Removal to St Mary’s Church Lanesboro arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 23 at 12 noon burial afterwards in Clonbunny Cemetery.
Kathleen Brady (née Morgan), 2 Swan Lake, Lough Gowna, Gowna, Cavan
The death occurred, suddenly at her home, on Sunday, January 21 of Kathleen Brady (née Morgan), No 2 Swan Lake Drive, Lough Gowna and formerly of Corfree, Lough Gowna. Rest In Peace. Funeral arrangements to follow.
Margaret ‘Pearlie’ Forde (née Smyth), Marino, Dublin / Strokestown, Roscommon
The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Sybil Hill, on Sunday, January 21 of Margaret ‘Pearlie’ Forde (née Smyth), Marino and formerly of Cloonglassny, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon. Beloved wife of the late Michael and much loved mother of Pauline, Anne, Fionnuala and Gerard; sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, sons-in-law Paul and Gerry, daughter-in-law Sally, grandchildren Sarah, Michael and Timmy, her sister Phil (O’Connor), nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends.
Reposing at Sybil Hill Nursing Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 23 from 4pm with Prayers at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass in Sybil Hill Nursing Home Chapel on Wednesday morning at 11am. Funeral thereafter to St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
Mary Watson (née Lynch), Mosstown House, Streamstown, Westmeath
The death occurred, peacefully in the very kind and wonderful care of Matron and nursing staff at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar, on Sunday, January 21 of Mary Watson (née Lynch), Mosstown House, Streamstown, Westmeath. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, brothers Paddy, Eamon and Tommy. Deeply regretted by her loving family daughters Ann (Ledwith), Louise (Slevin), son TJ, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Imelda, grandchildren, sisters Tesie Mee (Athlone), Phyllis Mulry (Jamestown), Bernadette Doyle (Athlone). Reposing on Monday, January 22 in Newbrook Nursing Home Chapel, Mullingar from 4pm to 6pm, followed by removal to St Brigid's Church, Boher arriving at 6.45 approx. Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 23 at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred, at Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon, on Friday, January 19 of Seán ‘John’ Grey, 1 Tower View, Ballynacargy, Westmeath. Sadly missed by his brothers, Michael and Tom, his sisters, Maureen Maher, Chrissie Rocke and Ann Phelan, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Thomond Lodge on Sunday evening, January 21 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Removal on Monday, January 22 to the Church of the Nativity, Ballynacargy for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Sonna Cemetery.
Professor Vincent Morris, Stepaside, Dublin / Arva, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully, in the care of St. Vincent’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 19 of Professor Vincent Morris, Stepaside, Dublin / Arva, Cavan. Devoted husband and best friend of Phil, wonderful father to James, Róisin, Ann, Kate and John. Beloved grandfather of Séan, Daragh, Molly, Robin, Clodagh, Séamus, Evie, Louis and baby Róisín. Much loved by his sons and daughters-in-law Fiona, David, Paul, Juan and Laura and his brother Gerry. He will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection. May he Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her residence on Sunday, January 21 from 2pm until 6pm followed by removal to St Mary's Church, Drumreilly arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning, January 22 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Rev Fr Leonard ‘Leo’ Leddy, Annaduff, Leitrim
The death occurred on Tuesday, January 16 of Rev Fr Leonard ‘Leo’ Leddy, formerly of Annaduff, Co Leitrim and Diocese of Austin Texas. Predeceased by his father Michael, mother Catherine, Sisters Sr Ann Marie (Nan), Sr Augustine (Kathleen), Elizabeth, Br Kevin (John), and Hugh, deeply regretted by his nephew Adrian, nieces Bernadette, Michelle and Patricia, Bishops, Priests and parishioners of Austin Diocese, relatives and friends. Funeral will take place in Texas. Memorial Mass at a later date in St Mary’s Church Annaduff. Requiescat in Pace.
