Elizabeth - Betty Walsh (née Carberry), Derryhaun, Kenagh, Longford

The death occurred, at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Friday, April 21 of Elizabeth - Betty Walsh (nee Carberry), Derryhaun, Kenagh, County Longford and late of Manchester. Predeceased by her husband Padraic and her son Peter. Deeply regretted by her loving sons James, David and John, their partners, children and grandchildren, her brother, sisters, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
Removal from her home at Derryhaun on Monday, April 24 to Saint Dominic's Church, Kenagh, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by removal to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan Town for Cremation Service at 3pm. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Patient Comfort Fund, Mullingar Regional Hospital care of Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Longford, or any family member. House Private Please.

Kathleen ‘Katty’ Gibbons, Clonfower, Lanesboro, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully at Innis Ree Lodge nursing home Ballyleague, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 19 of Kathleen ‘Katty’ Gibbons, Clonfower, Lanesboro, Longford. Predeceased by her brothers Tom and Noel. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sister Eva and brother Kevin, nephews, nieces, sisters in law Bernadette, Eileen and Noreen relatives and friends RIP.
Reposed at Farrell's Funeral Home Lanesboro on Friday, April 21 with removal to St Mary's Church Lanesboro. Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 22 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Clonbonny cemetery. House Private Please.

George McAtackney, Knocklongford, Mohill, Leitrim / Cavan Town, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully at Sligo Hospice, on Friday, April 21 of George McAtackney, Knocklongford, Mohill, Co Leitrim; Moynhall, Cavan and Belfast. Brother of Joe McAtackney, Moynehall, Cavan.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan from 4.30pm to 6pm on Saturday, April 22. Funeral service on Sunday, April 23 at 3pm followed by Cremation. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Sligo Hospice c/o Declan Finnegan Funeral Director or any family member.

Jack McGovern, Corneary, Aughavas, Leitrim
The death occurred, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, on Friday, April 21 of Jack McGovern, Corneary, Aughavas, Leitrim, ex Bord na Móna employee. Sadly missed by his brother Andy (Gubbs, Cloone), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Remains reposing at his residence on Saturday, April 22 from 1pm to 4pm with removal to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, Aughavas arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning, April 23 at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the old cemetery.

Annamarie Flynn (née McGirl), Clonrollagh, Longford / Leitrim

The death occurred, peacefully, at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, April 18 of Annamarie Flynn (née McGirl), Clonrollagh, Longford, formerly of Drumgorman, Leitrim. Predeceased by her parents Pat and Evelyn. Beloved wife of JJ (formerly of Aughnasheelin, Leitrim), dear mother to Eadaoin and Seán. Annamarie will be sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Patricia (McGirl, Longford), Kathleen (Gillespie, Dungloe) and Eileen (McGirl, Leitrim), mother-in-law Aileen, nieces Sarah Higgins and Ailbhe O’Brien, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her extended family, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Removal on Friday, April 21 to arrive at St Mel’s Cathedral for 6.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, April 22 at 10.30am. Interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family home private, please.
