The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St Joseph’s Care Centre, surrounded by her family on Monday, February 16, 2026 of Bridget (Bridie) Campbell, Beech Avenue, Prospect Woods, Longford town.
Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Bridget, sister Nancy and by her brothers Laurence, Michael, Patrick and Thomas. Bridie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sisters-in-law Rita and Kathleen, nieces Mary, Caitriona, Sarah and Annmarie, nephews Michael, Larry and Pat, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends.May she rest in peace.

The death occurred in the dedicated care of the staff of the Claddagh Ward at University Hospital Galway, following a long illness borne with strength and dignity on Sunday, February 15, 2026 of Brian (Bernard) Campbell ‘Westway’, Galway Road, Roscommon town and formerly of Corneddan, Ballinalee, County Longford.
Reunited with his beloved recently deceased wife Catherine (née Forde) and sons Joseph and Gerard in heaven, Brian was the cherished father of Catríona and father-in-law of Shane (Keating) and adored grandad of Kate and Jamie. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Brigid and brothers Pat and Terence. Brian will be very sadly missed by his sister Margaret Casey (Newtownbond), his nieces, nephews, extended family, former Garda colleagues, friends and neighbours. Rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening, February 18 from 6.30pm until 8pm. Removal from his home on Thursday morning, February 19 arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery. The death occurred at St Vincent's Hospital Elm Park on Monday, January 26, 2026 of Judy Pearse (née Orr) late of Delgany Wood, Delgany, Co Wicklow/ Longford/ Dublin.
Predeceased by her beloved husband David, beautiful granddaughter Leah, dear brother David and her special cousin Sue. She will be sadly missed by her children Fiona, Shauna, Vanessa, Perrin and Garret, her sister Val, her many grandchildren, three sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her brother-in-law, the extended family, neighbours and friends. A special word of thanks to the amazing staff in the Sugarloaf Care Centre, Kilmacanogue, who cared for Judy with compassion and kindness for the past fourteen months.
A gathering to remember Judy will take place on Friday, February 20 at the Royal St George Yacht Club, Harbour Road, Dun Laoghaire commencing at 13.30. Friends and colleagues are warmly welcomed to attend and to share stories. Canapes and refreshments will be provided. Family flowers only. It's with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Maureen O' Neill, (nee Gorman), late of Townspark, Longford town, formerly of Ardagh, and Sligo, suddenly on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Longford Westmeath General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her son James, her husband Shamey, brothers and sisters. Maureen will be very sadly missed by her son Alan, daughters, Carol and Breda. Her son-in-law Phillip, her grandchildren, Trudy, Elaine, Aaron, Shane, and Colin. Her great-grandchildren Alex, Aoibh, Cassie, and Mikie. Also by her loving partner, John, her close friend Trish, and her many relatives and friends in Longford and Sligo.
Maureen was known for her kindness, gentle nature, and deep love for her family. She touched the lives of many with her warm heart and her positive outlook on life. Her memory will live on in all who knew her.
In honour of Maureen's wishes, a private resomation has already taken place. A celebration of Maureen's life will take place in St Mel's Cathedral on Saturday, February 21 at 11am. No flowers, please.

Sadly missed by his sons John and David, daughters Karen and Sandra, son-in-law Mike, brothers Victor (Doreen), John (Susan), sister Frances (Noel), his adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends. The funeral will be held in Manchester at a later date.
"Safe in God's Keeping". He spent many happy visits holidaying with his special niece Lorna and the Hamilton and Good Families in Cornafean, Arva, Co Cavan.
