There were several International Women's Day events to celebrate Longford's amazing women. Longford Women’s Link organised a coffe morning ; Rath Mhuire & Dolmen Centre hosted a ‘Well Fest’ event in Colmcille Community Centre and a Longford County Council photographic exhibition featured the faces and stories of every woman ever elected to public office in County Longford.
