The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown on Friday, February 6, 2026 of Yvonne Gallagher, Carrickboy, Longford and formerly of Church Street, Dublin. 

Sadly missed by her loving brothers Bernard and Brendan, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Richard and sister Sheila.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Friday evening, February 13 from 6pm to 8pm. A celebration of Yvonne’s life will take place on Saturday afternoon, February 14 at 1.30pm in Glasnevin Crematorium which may also be viewed online (live only) by following this LINKFamily flowers only please. Anna McNally (née Doyle), Blackrock, Dublin / Moyne, Longford

The death occurred following a brief illness, peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 7, 2026 of Anna McNally (née Doyle), Blackrock, Co. Dublin, formerly of Moyne, Co. Longford. 

Beloved wife of the late Michael (Rene). Devoted mother to Niall and Diarmuid. Predeceased by her late brother Francis and parents Francis and Mary. Deeply regretted by her daughter-in-law Alison and grandchildren David and Patrick, extended family, neighbours and friends. May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock, A94 X308 on Thursday, February 12 from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 13 arriving at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock D18 N2F7, arriving at 9.40am for reception. Words of Appreciation will be given by the family prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Matthew Carrigy,  The Glebe, Multyfarnham, Westmeath / Streete, Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 of Matthew (Matty) Carrigy, of The Glebe, Multyfarnham, and late of Garriskill, Streete, Co. Westmeath.

Matty will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his family, sister Nancy, brother Tommy, sister-in-law, Angela, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May Matty rest in peace.

Reposing at Portiuncula Nursing Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 17 from 10:30am to 11:30am followed by removal to St Nicholas' Church, Multyfarnham for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place in Aughafin Cemetery, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. Dolly (Helena) Reynolds (née O’Reilly), Main Street, Mohill, Leitrim / Crubany, Cavan

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of Sligo University Hospital on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 of Dolly (Helena) Reynolds (nee O'Reilly) Main Street, Mohill, Co Leitrim and formerly of Crubany, Co Cavan.

Predeceased by her husband Chris, brothers, James and Peter, and sisters, Nan and Kathleen. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Geralyn and Mary, sons Mike, Fintan, Leo and Justin, sons-in-law Liam and Jim, daughters-in-law Imelda, Deirdre and Tara, grandchildren, sister Betty Cobey, brother, Michael, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful neighbours and a large circle of friends. May Dolly’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence on Friday, February 13 from 2pm - 5pm, followed by removal to St Patrick's Church, Mohill to arrive for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, February 14 at 11am, followed by burial to adjoining cemetery. House strictly private outside of reposing times please.

Gerard Reynolds, Cloone, Co Leitrim

The  death occurred peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 of Gerard Reynolds of Corduff, Cloone, Co Leitrim.

Predeceased by his parents Frankie and Mary Reynolds. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving children Laura, Gavin and Francis, their mother Ann T. son-in-law Cathal, daughter-in-law Monika, adored grandchildren Jack, Mia Lillie, Willow and Lucas, his brother John, sisters Helen and Ann, uncle Thomas Rowley, sisters-in-law Paula and Emily; brothers-in-law Michael, Peter, John Joe, Patrick and Diarmuid, nieces Grainne, Rachel and Siobhan, nephew Sean, extended family neighbours and friends. May Gerard Rest in Peace.

Mass of the Resurrection in St Mary’s Church, Cloone on Saturday, February 14 at 1pm followed by burial to the adjoining cemetery. Gerard’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed HERE.

Frankie Cosgrove, Cappagh, Mohill, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of Arus Carolan, Mohill, Co Leitrim on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 of Frankie Cosgrove Cappagh, Mohill, Co Leitrim. 

Predeceased by his wife Mary, his sisters Peggy, Aileen and brother Josie. Frankie will be sadly missed by his loving Sons James (Amy), Charlie (Sinead), daughter Mary Ellen (Mike), grandchildren Ruairí, Barra, Croíadh, Seímí Óg, Sophia, Elijah, Alannah, Georgia, Jack, Kyle, brothers Harry and Tony, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends. May Frankie’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Amelda Burke, Castlestrange, Athleague, Roscommon / Ballsbridge, Dublin

The death occurred peacefully in the devoted care of the staff at Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 of Amelda Burke, Ballsbridge, Dublin and formerly of Castlestrange, Athleague, Co Roscommon.

She will be very sadly missed by her brother Jay (Jim) (Ballyleague), sister Anna Begley (Galway), sister-in-law Marie, nieces, nephews, extended family, former nursing colleagues and friends. Amelda is predeceased by her parents and by her brother and sister. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday, February 15 from 3.30pm until 5pm followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Athleague. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning, February 16 at 11am. Mary Sullivan (née Caslin), The Paddocks, Naas, Kildare / Strokestown, Roscommon

The death occurred peacefully, in the loving care of Saint Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 of Mary Sullivan (née Caslin), The Paddocks, Naas, Co Kildare and formerly of Bridge Street, Strokestown, Co Roscommon.  

Beloved wife of Martin, adored mother of Paul and devoted and cherished Momó of Róise agus Nainsí. She will be sadly missed by her husband, son, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Ailsa, sister Helen, brothers Marty and Peter, brothers-in-law Christy, Colman, John (RIP) and Mick, sisters-in-law Mary and Phil, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Mary was pre-deceased by her parents Kathleen and Martin, parents-in-law Nora and Martin. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Dennis Miles, Vesnoy, Strokestown, Roscommon

The death occurred at St James' Hospital, Dublin on Monday, February 9, 2026 of Dennis Miles Vesnoy, Strokestown, Co Roscommon.

Beloved son of Cecilia and step-father Pat (P), much loved brother of Graham, Ian, Philip and Evelyn. Dennis will be sadly missed by his loving family, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown (F42 RK72), on Thursday, February 12 from 6pm until 8pm, followed by removal to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown. Funeral Mass on Friday, February 13 at 11am. Burial afterwards in Scramogue Cemetery. Judy Pearse (née Orr), Delgany Wood, Delgany, Wicklow / Longford / Dublin

The death occurred at St Vincent's Hospital Elm Park on Monday, January 26, 2026 of Judy Pearse (née Orr) late of Delgany Wood, Delgany, Co Wicklow/ Longford/ Dublin. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband David, beautiful granddaughter Leah, dear brother David and her special cousin Sue. She will be sadly missed by her children Fiona, Shauna, Vanessa, Perrin and Garret, her sister Val, her many grandchildren, three sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her brother-in-law, the extended family, neighbours and friends. A special word of thanks to the amazing staff in the Sugarloaf Care Centre, Kilmacanogue, who cared for Judy with compassion and kindness for the past fourteen months. 

A gathering to remember Judy will take place on Friday, February 20 at the Royal St George Yacht Club, Harbour Road, Dun Laoghaire commencing at 13.30. Friends and colleagues are warmly welcomed to attend and to share stories. Canapes and refreshments will be provided. Family flowers only. Maureen O'Neill (née Gorman), Longford town, Co Longford / Sligo

It's with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Maureen O' Neill, (nee Gorman), late of Townspark, Longford town, formerly of Ardagh, and Sligo, suddenly on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Longford Westmeath General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her son James, her husband Shamey, brothers and sisters. Maureen will be very sadly missed by her son Alan, daughters, Carol and Breda. Her son-in-law Phillip, her grandchildren, Trudy, Elaine, Aaron, Shane, and Colin. Her great-grandchildren Alex, Aoibh, Cassie, and Mikie. Also by her loving partner, John, her close friend Trish, and her many relatives and friends in Longford and Sligo.

Maureen was known for her kindness, gentle nature, and deep love for her family. She touched the lives of many with her warm heart and her positive outlook on life. Her memory will live on in all who knew her. 

In honour of Maureen's wishes, a private resomation has already taken place. A celebration of Maureen's life will take place in St Mel's Cathedral on Saturday, February 21 at 11am. No flowers, please.

George Bryson, Manchester and Buckley, Wales, and late of Drumbess, Cornafean, Arva, Co Cavan

The death occurred peacefully at Wrexham General Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 of George Samual Bryson, Manchester and Buckley, Wales and late of Drumbess, Cornafean, Arva, Co Cavan. 

Predeceased by his wife Florence and his sister Eva. Sadly missed by his sons John and David, daughters Karen and Sandra, son-in-law Mike, brothers Victor (Doreen), John (Susan), sister Frances (Noel), his adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends. The funeral will be held in Manchester at a later date.

"Safe in God's Keeping". He spent many happy visits holidaying with his special niece Lorna and the Hamilton and Good Families in Cornafean, Arva, Co Cavan.
