The death occurred peacefully in the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar on Monday, December 22, 2025 of Charlie Doyle, Mosstown, Kenagh, Longford.
Predeceased by his parents Bernard & May, his brother Tommy, nephew Gavin and grandnephew Thomas. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Betty. His brothers Brian & Sean, his sisters-in-law Irene, Tess, Anne and Breda, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends & neighbours. May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing in St Dominic's Church, Kenagh this Tuesday evening, December 23 from 5pm until 7pm followed by prayers. Funeral mass on Wednesday, December 24 Christmas Eve at 12 noon followed by burial in Shrule Cemetery.
May Cheevers (née Cryan), Killashee Street, Longford
The death occurred peacefully in Mullingar Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 22, 2025 of May Cheevers (née Cryan), Killashee Street, Longford.
Predeceased by her husband John, parents Patrick and Elizabeth and her sister Annie (Nan). May will be sadly missed by her family, her son Richie, daughter-in-law Angie, her adored grandchildren Rachel and Gemma, sister Bridget (Sligo), brothers Pat (Sligo) and John (Tipperary), nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

The death occurred peacefully, in the care of the Palliative Nursing Staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 20, 2025 of Marie Keogh (née Reilly), Rathbrackan, Granard, Longford and formerly Ballinulty, Dring, Co Longford.
Predeceased by her parents May and Edward Reilly. Marie will be sadly missed by her loving husband J.P., her sons Fergal and Mark, her daughter Aoife, daughters in law Leah and Helena. Her beloved grandchildren Senan, Éadaoin, Sadie, Michael and Hallie, brothers Jim, Pat, Liam and Eamon, sister Brenda (Haywood), sisters in law, brother in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred peacefully in Mullingar Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 21, 2025 of Evelyn McGowan (née Fallon), Lack, Whitehall, Tarmonbarry, Roscommon / Longford. Predeceased by her husband, Michael John; sons, Benedict and Padraic; daughters-in–law Mary and Liz; son-in-law Martin Collum; granddaughter Catherine; her parents Mary Kate and Charles; her brothers Charlie Joe and Michael, and her sister Kathleen.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Geraldine Collum (Ballinamuck), Gabrielle Devine (Derryharrow), Nuala Lack; and son-in-law, Kevin Devine. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sisters, Ethel Carroll (Kilmore), Margaret Glynn (Mullingar) and Charlotte Morgan (Fore); her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Delia Kiernan (née Reilly), Aughnacliffe, Longford
The death occurred peacefully at her home, surrounded by her heartbroken family following an illness on Monday, December 1, 2025 of Delia Kiernan (née Reilly), Sundon Park, Luton England and Molly, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford.
Predeceased by her precious daughter Yvonne, her parents Dan and Rose, her sister Rose Cooley, brothers Pat, Danny, Johnny, and Tommy.
She is very dearly missed and fondly remembered by her husband and best friend, Oliver, her daughter Emma and sons Gordon and Gavin. Her precious grandchildren Conor, Brogan, Ben, Joe, Harvey, Freya, Finley and Sonni. Her son in law Darren, daughters in law Clare and Em. Her sister Maureen Jones (Bob), London, her brother Barney (Roisin.) Dernavogy and sister in law, Breda Reilly, Molly, along with nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives, and her many great friends.
Delias funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Apostle Church, Sundon Park, Luton on Tuesday, December 23 at 11.30am. Followed by a cremation service at The Vale crematorium at 1pm.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital on Saturday, December 20, 2025 of Sinead Reilly (née Smith), Cortober, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Farnadolly, Crossdoney, Co Cavan.
Predeceased by her baby daughter Martha. Beloved wife of Darragh and devoted mother of Ronna, Hannah and Noah. Sinead will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters and son, her parents Philip and Ann, brothers Andrew (Caroline) and Aodhagán (Emma), sisters Ailish (Niall), Áine (Damien), Orla (Liam), Niamh (Seán) and Aisling (Kieran), parents-in-law John and Christine, aunts, uncles, grand-aunts, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

The death occurred suddenly but peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 20, 2025 of Muriel Jean Abbott, Springfield House, Mohill, Co Leitrim.
Beloved youngest daughter of the late John and Rita. Dearly loved sister of Joan (Regan), Vera (Fleming), Aideen (Huston) and brother Ivan. Muriel will be missed by her much loved nieces and nephews - Emma, Robin, Rebecca, Jennifer, Richard, Hazel and Louise, her brothers-in-law - Noel, William and Ivan, her adored grandnieces and grandnephews, her cousins, and many friends and work colleagues in SuperValu, Longford.
Muriel will repose in St Mary's Parish Church, Mohill on Monday, December 22 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 23 at 1pm in St Mary's Church followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. The death occurred at home, surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family after battling a long illness on Thursday, December 11, 2025 of Joan Nea, Basildon, Essex, England and formerly of Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath, aged 82.
Predeceased by her husband Martin. Sadly missed by her loving children Pauline, Stephen and Tina, her adored grandchildren Nichola, Melissa, Martha, Siobhan and Kieran, great-grandchildren Leonyedus, Eoin, Patrick and Ahreay, daughter-in-law Lorraine, son-in-law Paul, Nichola's partner Tony, Melissa's partner Leon, Martha's husband Noel; brother David and his family in Australia; and a wide circle of friends.
