The death occurred peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 of Noel Quinn, Castlecourt, Newtownforbes, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, brothers Paschal and Sean and by his dear daughter Angela. Noel will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, beloved wife Patsy, sons David (Cork) and Peter (Philadelphia), daughters-in-law Mary and Deidre, granddaughters Rachel, Fiona, Kaitlyn and Samantha, brothers Eamon and Frank, sister Annette, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Friday, July 5 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. The death occurred peacefully at home in the loving care of her family on Friday, June 21, 2024 of Mary Ellen (Mary) Martin (nee Lennon) late of Manchester & formerly of Aughacordrinan, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband Benny. Parents Michael & Margaret Lennon, and her partner Tom Galligan.

Deeply regretted by her sons Luke and Ian, daughter Belinda, daughters-in-law Siawporn & Claire, grandchildren Sean, Melissa, Ally, Ben, Ethan & Ollie, great grandson Shay, her brothers John-James & Matty (London), sisters Kathleen Donohue (Co Carlow) & Chris Keenan (Co Longford), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends. May Mary-Ellen Rest in Peace.

The death occurred peacefully after a short illness with his partner and his family by his side on Sunday, June 30, 2024 of Oliver Frank (Gareth) Burke, Fisherstown, Clondra, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Angela, sister Theresa and his brother Brian. Frank will be forever missed by his heartbroken partner Mary, brothers Sam, Tony, Damien and Gerard and by his sisters Christine Ryan and Marie Casey, his partner Mary's family, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024 of Cyril Claffey, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14 and formerly of Ballymahon, Co Longford. He will be very sadly missed by his beloved wife Dolores, daughter Maureen, sons Stephen, Cyril and John, son-in-law Niall, daughter-in-law Anita, grandchildren Michelle, Frances, Deirdre, Federica, Theo, Freya and Esme, nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St Joseph’s Care Centre, Longford on Thursday, July 4, 2024 of Lloyd Edwin Philpott, Sussex, England/ Longford. Predeceased by his wife Patricia (Pat). Lloyd will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughter Sarah McGuire (Moydow), son Dennis (UK), sisters, brothers, daughter-in-law Kathleen, son-in-law Declan, grandchildren Kirsti, Charlotte, Liam, Abbie and Shannon, his three great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Catherine will repose at her home on Thursday evening, July 4 from 5pm to 8pm and again on Friday evening, July 5 from 5pm to 8pm. Removal from her home on Saturday, July 6 at 11.30am to arrive St Michael’s Church, Potahee for 12 noon Requiem Mass, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully in the tender care of the nurses and staff of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 of Eileen O'Neill (née Moran), Clooncarne, Bornacoola, Leitrim. Beloved wife of the late Leo and dear mother of the late Anthony. Sadly missed by her sons and daughters Raymond, Lorraine Reynolds, Tracy Blake and Leo, sons-in-law Sean and Brian, daughters-in-law Siobhan and Hanna, her eight grandchildren Kelly, Sinead, Tara, Cáelán, Aoibhínn, Amy, Mia and Mathias, her three great-grandchildren Caitlin, Oliver and Madaleine, sister in law Lena Moran, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Eileen Rest in Peace.

The death occurred peacefully aged 92 on Thursday, June 20, 2024 of Margaret Grufferty (née Boland) London and formerly of Slattamore, Rooskey, Co Roscommon, known affectionately as “Peggy”.  May 11, 1932 - June, 20 2024. Now reunited with her husband Christopher. Predeceased by her husband Christopher, sister May & brothers Thomas, Gerald, Michael, Patrick & Eugene. Sadly missed by her sister Josephine (Josie) Feeney, sisters-in-law Mairead Grufferty, Eileen Boland, brother-in-law Tom Grufferty , nephews, nieces and extended family members. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

The funeral cortège will travel via Slattamore by Peggy’s family home to arrive at St Anne’s church, Slatta on Friday evening, July 5 for 7.30pm. The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of Fountains Care Home, Rainham, London on Monday, June 24 of Rosetta Reehill (née Reilly) Clonoose, Ballyheelan, Kilnaleck, Cavan. Former Labour Party councillor candidate in Upminster.

Predeceased by her Late husband Gerry Reehill of Longford Town, her sister Anna and brothers Hugh, Packie, Jim & Eddie. Rosetta will be sadly missed by her daughter Loretta, son-in-law John, Velvet, loving friends, family, sisters Kay and Josie, brother John, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Andy, all her extended family, friends & neighbours.

(Formerly of Carrigleagh, Shanballymore, County Cork). Predeceased by her parents James and Ellen, her husband Patrick (Carrowclogher, Strokestown), daughter Annette, and sister Brid. A dear mother to Helen and Martin. A loving sister of Margaret, Eileen, and Mary. Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by her family.
