The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Sunset Lodge on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 of Bridget Dennigan (nee Tully) Teffia Park, Longford town. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Roseanne, husband Patrick and by her sister Monica. Bridget will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Anne Donlon (Ardagh), Rose (Mayo), sons Peter (U.S.A), Patrick (Longford), Bernard (Galway) and Thomas (Limerick), sisters Margaret Gregg, Mary O’Neill, Teresa Jordan and her twin sister Kathleen Tully, son-in-law Frank, daughters-in-law Helen and Catherine, Rose’s partner Adrian, Peter’s partner Jenny, grandchildren Danny, Andrew, Brian, Sean, Liam, Ailish, Maeve, Saoirse, Levon, Khoren, Emmet, Mark, Aoife, Aisling and Cillian, great-grandchild Jack, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. The death occurred peacefully, at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, after a long illness, bravely borne of Eileen O'Kane (nee Keenan), Drumeel, Ballinalee, Co Longford and formerly of Ardagh. Predeceased by her beloved husband Denis, daughters Mary and Denise, brother PJ, sisters Nancy and Babs and her adored grandsons Patrick and Mel. Beloved husband of the late Eileen and dear father of Eoin, Shay, Rory and Áine. Predeceased by his brothers John and Owen and sisters Bridget, Annie, Mary and Baby Rose. The recent death has occurred peacefully in the loving care of Keate House Nursing Home, Lymm, surrounded by her adored children daughter Sharon, son Stephen, her Grandson Stan, son in law Simon and daughter in law Jane of Mary Sawyer (nee Clabby) late of Lymm, Cheshire, England and formerly Fisherstown, Clondra, Longford.
Predeceased by her loving husband Tom, parents Thomas and Nora. Sadly missed by her sisters Kathleen and Nora, nieces Shirley, Sarah, Elaine and Anita, and nephews Mark and David, brother in law Pat and many friends in Ireland and the UK.
Mary's funeral mass will take place in Cheshire, England and there will be a memorial mass at a later date in Clondra, Longford.
