The death occurred at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 of Theresa McDermott Quinn, Cloncaulfield, Moydow, Longford. Predeceased by her father Joe, her mother Rita and her brother Sean. Theresa will be deeply missed by her heartbroken family; husband Ronan, son Shane, sister Elizabeth Yorke, brothers Dermot, Richard and Joseph, mother-in-law Teresa Quinn, sisters in law, brothers in law, Shane's partner Cara, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, god-daughters, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing in Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford, on Thursday evening, February 29 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, March 1 at 12noon in St Brigid's Church, Ardagh, interment afterwards in Moydow Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society c/o Glennon's Funeral Directors or any family member. House private except for close family and friends.

Veronica Curejova, Longford Town, Longford

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 24, 2024 of Veronica Curejova, Longford Town, Longford and formerly of Slovakia. Predeceased by her husband Emil. She will be sadly missed by her family; daughters Maria, Veronika, Renata and Ruzena, son Miro, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Mass of the resurrection takes place on Wednesday, February 28 at 11am in St Mel's Cathedral, Longford. Evening prayers in Glennons Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, on Wednesday evening at 6pm. Funeral Mass and interment will take place in Slovakia.

Tom Reynolds, Barne, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully in the company of his family and in the loving care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital on Monday, February 26, 2024 of Tom Reynolds, Barne, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. Predeceased by his infant son Padraig and his parents Patrick and Annie Reynolds, brother PJ and sisters Maureen and Aggie. Sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Kathleen, daughters Sharon Haughey, Olivia Cahill and Edel Coyle, and his son Anthony, brother Barney (Mullingar), his 13 adored grandchildren, daughter-in-law Sylvia, sons-in-law Gerard, Declan and Patrick, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown on Tuesday, February 27 from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown on Wednesday, February 28 at 1.30pm. The death occurred peacefully, in the wonderful care of St John's Unit, Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar on Sunday, February 25, 2024 of Breda Moran (nee O'Reilly) Hillcrest, Balla, Mayo and formerly of Corrick, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband Kevin, parents Eugene and Margaret, brothers Paddy, Michael, Jim, Colm and Eddie, sister Peggy. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, Kenneth, Anthony and Liam, brothers Eugene and Martin, sister Evelyn, grandchildren Lara, Anna, Jamie, Eleanor and Alannah, daughters in law Noreen, Sarah and Valerie, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the Balla funeral home on Tuesday, February 27 from 5pm until 7pm followed by removal to her home. Remains to arrive to St Cronin's Church on Wednesday, February 28 at 11.30am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Balla Cemetery.

Mary Kelly (née Rowland) Granard, Co Longford / Mullingar, Co Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully with her loving family by her side and in the devoted care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital on Sunday, February 25, 2024 of Mary Kelly (nee Rowland), Granard, Co Longford and formerly Tudenham Park, Mullingar, Co Westmeath. Predeceased by her father Tom. Mary will be very sadly missed and always remembered by her husband Gerry, her adored children Grace and Gary, her dear mother Margaret, sister Gabrielle, brothers Tommy, John, Bernard and her twin brother Tony, uncle Pat, sisters-in-law Carole, Debbie and Yvonne, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Tullamore Regional Hospital on Friday, February 16, 2024 of John Briody, Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown / 39 Glen Riada, Longford. 
Predeceased by his parents and siblings Philip, Michael, Liam, Rita and Mary. John will be sadly missed by his family, his partner Julia, sons Rama, Sean, Fona and stepson Connor, stepdaughter Danielle, his adored grandchild Cormac, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, on Friday, February 23, 2024 of Mary McCann (née Flynn) formerly Donlon, Shroid, Longford. Predeceased by her parents, sisters, brothers, by Jim McCann and Anthony Donlon, son Gerry, grandsons Stephen, Aiden, Rory and Gerard. Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Mary, Caroline and Anita, sister Tess, brother Bernard, daughter-in-law Stephanie, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

The death occurred, unexpectedly at University Hospital Galway, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 of Nora Bernard (née Rennick), Clybaun Heights, Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly of Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, her sisters Ruth, Lou and Vera and her brothers Tom and Noel. Deeply mourned and very sadly missed by her loving daughters Iris and Mary, her goddaughter Mary, her sister Beatrice, son-in-law Robert, grandsons Danny and Conor, nieces, nephews, relatives and her many, many neighbours and friends.
Nora will repose in St. Anthony’s Room, within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 5.30pm to 7pm. Removal after to the church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Nora on Tuesday, February 27 at 12 noon. The death occurred peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 26, 2024 of John Anthony (Tony) McLaughlin, Cavan Road, Ballinagh, Co Cavan. Predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend Maureen, his brothers Pat, George, Jerry, Danny, Joe and his sister Mary. The death occurred peacefully at St James's Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 22, 2024 of Michael John Canning, Lisomadaun, Gorvagh, Co. Leitrim.  Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Rose Anne. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Peter (Portmarnock, Co Dublin), Nuala (Surrey, England), Rose Anne (Florida, USA) and Tony (Castlefin, Co Donegal), brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother Fr Jim Sorohan. Sadly missed by his daughter Maura, sons; Gerard, Jim and Padraig, son-in-law Mark and daughters in law; Catherine, Orlaith and Breda, his sisters; Theresa, Ann and Monica and his brothers; Con and Brendan, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
