Mary McCann (née Flynn), Shroid, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, on Friday, February 23, 2024 of Mary McCann (née Flynn) formerly Donlon, Shroid, Longford. Predeceased by her parents, sisters, brothers, by Jim McCann and Anthony Donlon, son Gerry, grandsons Stephen, Aiden, Rory and Gerard. Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Mary, Caroline and Anita, sister Tess, brother Bernard, daughter-in-law Stephanie, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel (N39 XE92) on Monday, February 26 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of The Resurrection also in Laurel Lodge Chapel on Tuesday, February 27 at 11am, interment afterwards in Ardagh cemetery.
Nora Bernard (née Rennick), Clybaun Heights, Knocknacarra, Galway / Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred, unexpectedly at University Hospital Galway, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 of Nora Bernard (née Rennick), Clybaun Heights, Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly of Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, her sisters Ruth, Lou and Vera and her brothers Tom and Noel. Deeply mourned and very sadly missed by her loving daughters Iris and Mary, her goddaughter Mary, her sister Beatrice, son-in-law Robert, grandsons Danny and Conor, nieces, nephews, relatives and her many, many neighbours and friends.
Nora will repose in St. Anthony’s Room, within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 5.30pm to 7pm. Removal after to the church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Nora on Tuesday, February 27 at 12 noon. Aidan Joyce, Paraic Colum Heights, Longford Town, Longford

The death occurred on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 of Aidan Joyce, Pauric Colum Heights, Longford. Predeceased by his father John, brother Alan, nephew Willie and other extended family. Aidan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Margaret, mother Ann, sisters Mary, Maggie, Ann and Helen, brothers Joe, John, David, Willie, Bernard, Eddie and James, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his home (36 Paraic Colum Heights) on Saturday, February 24 from 2pm until 6pm and again on Sunday, February 25 from 2pm until 6pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, February 26 in St Mel’s Cathedral at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.

The death occurred on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 of Michael Skin Devlin, St Finian’s Park, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Edgeworthstown, Co Longford and Belfast. Loving son of Michael and Kathleen, beloved partner to Sharon and loving dad to Michael, Michaela, Richard, Josh and Shannon and grandad to Skylar-May, Sophia, Blake, Hunter and Kayleigh. Sadly missed by his family, brother Sean, sisters AnnMarie, Jeanine and Nicola, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May He Rest In Peace.

The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 of Michael Walsh, Aughamore, Scramogue, Roscommon. Beloved husband of Cáit, and adored father of Lisa, Sarah, Eimear and Shane. Grandfather of Annie, Michéal and Lillian, father in law of Gerard and Declan. He will be very sadly missed by his brothers John, Colm, Stephen, Josie, Paddy, sisters Mary, Margaret and Kay, mother-in-law Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and Neighbours. Ní Bheidh a Leithéad arís ann. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Michael is predeceased by his mother Annie, father Michael, granduncles and aunts, father-in-law Michael, brothers-in-law Peter, Oliver and nephew Colin. Reposing at Leavy's Funeral Home, Scramogue (F42 FD78) on Sunday, February 25 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 26 at St Cecilia's Church, Curraghroe at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Scramogue Cemetery. Maureen Dolphin (née Roddy) Willowfield Road, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim and formerly High St and Mayo, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St Patrick’s Community Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon on Thursday, February 22, 2024 of Maureen Dolphin (nee Roddy), Willowfield Road, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim and formerly High Street and Mayo, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim.Predeceased by her husband Tommy, her brothers Hugh & Josie and her sisters Philomena & Kathleen. Maureen will be sadly missed by her sisters Rosaleen, Margaret & Carmel, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, her carers, neighbours & many friends. Rest in Peace.

Beloved wife of the late Michael and loving mother of David, and Michele. Predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Margaret, sister Kathleen. Margaret will be very sadly missed by her, son and daughter, son-in-law Rory, daughter-in-law Astrid, niece, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace.

The death occurred peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar on Thursday, February 22, 2024 of Breege Donovan (née Maguire), Clonmore Heights, Mullingar and formerly Rathowen, Co Westmeath. Breege will be forever loved and dearly missed by her son Paul, daughters Helen and Fiona, and her partner Dick, her cherished grandchildren Joseph, Ethan, Malachy, Rian, Maisie, Lyla and Amelie, son-in-law Carl, Fiona’s partner Etienne, sisters Collette, Nuala, Kathleen, Roseleen and Martina, brother Seamus, nieces, nephews and many friends. The death occurred suddenly, at her residence in Burnham on Crouch, Essex on Sunday, January 28, 2024 of Berna Casey, Burnham on Crouch, Essex and late of Kenagh, Co Longford. Predeceased by her beloved partner, Pat, her loving parents Frank and Lil, her sister Teresa and infant brother Edward.
Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers - Jimmy and Francis, sisters - Marie (Carroll), Eilish (Casey- Boyce), Martina (Williams) and Jackie (Leonard), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, colleagues and a wide circle of friends. May She Rest In Peace.
