Patrick Joseph Brady, Kiltycon, Moyne, Co Longford


The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Cavan General Hospital on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 of Patrick Joseph Brady, Kiltycon, Moyne, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Phil and Bridget, his brother Phil and sister Margaret. Patrick will be sadly missed and always remembered by his loving brother Noel (Helen), sister Nancy (Tom), brother-in-law Padric, sister-in-law Helen (London), his nephews Stephen, Damien, John, Philip, Anthony, nieces Noeleen, Veronica, Siobhan and Mary, grand nieces and nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing in Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford, N39EC81 this Thursday evening, February 22 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Removal from his nephew Stephen and Emer’s home on Friday, February 23 to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Legga for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Patrick will be laid to rest in Tubberpatrick Cemetery.

Tina Bermingham (née Leggett) Wexford / Dublin / Longford


The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Thomond Lodge, Nursing Home, Ballymahon, Co Longford on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 of Tina Bermingham (nee Leggett) Wexford and formerly of Dublin / Longford.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick-Joseph and son-in-law Hugh Regan. Tina will be sadly missed and always remembered by her family, sons Michael and Douglas, daughters Adrienne, Gillian, Gemma and Patricia, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, Forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace Tina. 
Reposing in Connell’s Funeral Home, Church Street, Longford, N39 KN66 on Saturday, February 24 from12 noon concluding with prayers at 1.30pm, followed with cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please.

Brigid Victory (née Nolan), Edgeworthstown, Longford / Myshall, Carlow


The death occurred peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 19, 2024 of Brigid Victory (née Nolan), Edgeworthstown, Longford and formerly of Myshall, Carlow. Predeceased by her father Matthew Nolan. Brigid will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Tom, her five children Laura (McEntee, Arva), Áine (Jones, Churchtown), Tomás, Mairéad and Cathal, her mother Kathleen (nee Fenelon) and her six adoring grandchildren Eoghan, Darragh, Lucie, Cillian, Robbie and Rían. Sister Mary Frances (Corcoran), brothers Joe, Martin and Fergus, Aunt Bridie McMahon, aunt's in law, son's in law Danny McEntee, Simon Jones and Tomás' partner Amy, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown on Wednesday, February 21 from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral mass Thursday at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown (N39VR04), followed by burial in Aughafin Cemetery. House Family Only Please. The death occurred peacefully in the incredible care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice on Monday, February 19, 2024 of Ben Balfe, Killerney, Lanesboro Road, Roscommon Town and formerly of Knock, Lanesboro, Co Longford. Beloved husband of Anne and much loved Dad to Alan and Amanda. He will be very sadly missed by his family, brothers John, Marcus, Denis and Terry, sisters Liz, Joan, Kay and Grace, aunts Moira and Lena, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and good friends. May Ben rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening, February 21 from 4.30pm until 6.30pm followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. The death occurred, following a long illness, on Monday, February 19, 2024 of Colette Keane (nee O’Doherty) formerly of Cloonadra, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon and Patrick Street, Templemore, Co Tipperary. 
Predeceased by her parents Denis and Alice O’Doherty. Regretted by her daughter Sinead, son Jonathan, son in law Shane, grandchildren, brothers Jim, Eugene, Denis and Paschal, sister Siobhan, sisters in law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May Colette rest in peace.
Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore this Thursday evening, February 22 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning, February 23 to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Templemore for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. The death occurred in the loving care of all the staff at Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 of Giuseppina (Josie) Cooke, (née Parussolo), French Court, Strokestown, Roscommon. Predeceased by her husband John Joe. Josie will be sadly missed by her nephews, good friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.

The death occurred suddenly on Sunday, February 18, 2024 of Donna Duke, Ballinakill, Glasson, Co Westmeath. Predeceased by her beloved brother Neil. Sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Stephen and Christine, grandparents Joe and Annie Duke and nephew Jason, uncles, aunts, Cousins, and extended family. May She Rest In Peace.

The death occurred peacefully at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 19, 2024 of Maura Dwyer (née McKiernan) Kiltubrid, Co Leitrim and formerly, Long Island, New York. 
Sadly missed by her husband Pete, son Christopher, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandchildren Mara and Brandon, sister Sue Smyth (Longford) and brothers Tom Joe, Liam and Sean, her loving nieces and nephews. The death occurred suddenly, at her residence in Burnham on Crouch, Essex on Sunday, January 28, 2024 of Berna Casey, Burnham on Crouch, Essex and late of Kenagh, Co Longford. Predeceased by her beloved partner, Pat, her loving parents Frank and Lil, her sister Teresa and infant brother Edward.
Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers - Jimmy and Francis, sisters - Marie (Carroll), Eilish (Casey- Boyce), Martina (Williams) and Jackie (Leonard), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, colleagues and a wide circle of friends. May She Rest In Peace.
