The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by his family, on Friday, December 1, 2023 of Joseph (Joe) Dolan, 'Fairview House', Curry , Kenagh, Longford. Predeceased by his parents William & Elizabeth, brother Fr. Leo & sister Aileen. Joe will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his loving wife Anna-May (née O' Reilly), beloved daughter Anne-Marie Mitchell (Kildare), son-in-law Owen, brother Billy (Kenagh), grandchildren Zoe, Kian, Noah and Ollie, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel, Longford (N39 XE92) on Sunday, December 3 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, December 4 in St Dominic's Church, Kenagh at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery. The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Friday, December 1, 2023 of Mary Langan (née Dermody), Cartron, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford and formerly of Mullinroe, Dring, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband Tom. Mary will be sadly missed by her sons Patrick and John, daughters Ena, Roisin and Mary, her loving grandchildren Niall, Robert and David, her sister Aggie, sons-in-law David and Dean, daughter in law Colette, cousins, relatives and friends. Reposing at our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown on Sunday, December 3 from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, December 4 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church Edgeworthstown. Burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery.

The death occurred on Thursday, November 30, 2023 of Very Rev Fr Peter Brady, Legan and formerly of Derryharrow, Longford, former President of St Mel’s College. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Kate, brother Philip and by his sister Margaret McLoughlin. Fr Peter will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, brothers Packie, Eamon and Tommie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, by the Bishop, Priests and Religious of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise, relatives and friends. Fr Peter will repose at St Mary’s Church, Legan, on Saturday, December 2 from 2pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday, December 3 at 2pm, interment afterwards in Legan Cemetery.

Predeceased by his wife Bridget, sisters Rosie, Bridie and Maureen, and brothers Tom, Sean and Pat. Much loved by sons Joseph and John, daughter-in-law Sue, sisters Dympna (London), Sarah (Moate), and Kathleen (USA), brothers Bill (Birmingham), Matt (Dublin), Mike (Forgney), and Christy (Surrey). He will be deeply missed by all family and friends.
Reception into Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Yardley Wood, Thursday, December 14 at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, December 15 at 11.00am, followed by burial at Robin Hood Cemetery. Flowers welcome, or donations, if desired, to the Birmingham Irish Association, via collection at the church.
