John (Jack) Keville, Cloncoose , Longford Town, Longford / Annaduff, Leitrim / Clara, Offaly


The death occurred, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, October 28, 2023 of John (Jack) Keville, Cloncoose , Longford Town, Longford and formerly of Annaduff, Leitrim / Clara, Offaly. Predeceased by his sister Anne and by his daughter-in-law Roz.
Jack will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Nora, daughter Linda Healy, sons Patrick and Bernard, cherished grandchildren James, Andrew, Alex, Jack and Lauren, daughter-in-law Cathy, son-in-law James, sister Moya, brothers Leo and Kieran, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Monday, October 30 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, October 31 in St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff (N41 CF54) at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rosaleen (Bell) Mulkerrins (née McCann), Aughnamaddo, Drumlish, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 of Rosaleen (Bell) Mulkerrins (née McCann), Aughnamaddo, Drumlish, Longford. Predeceased by her husband Michael, parents Patrick and Ellen and her brothers Patrick and Brendan (Brian).
Sadly missed by her sons Michael and Brian, daughter Ellen, daughters-in-law Dawn and Basi, son-in-law Ivan, her adored grandchildren Michael James, Rhiannon, Conner, Jolene, Norah, Liam, Maeve and Colin, brothers James, Peter and Michael, sisters Mary (Maloney) and Margaret (Corrigan), sisters-in-law Norah and Victoria, brother-in-law Martin, sisters-in-law Josephine (Mulkerrins), Kathleen (Sordi) and Mary (McCann), brothers-in-law John and PJ cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, many friends and neighbours. May Rosaleen Rest in Peace.

Caroline Nugent, Camelot Cottage, Carrickduff, Granard, Longford / Coolock, Dublin


The death occurred, following a short illness, in the tender care of the staff of Mullingar Hospital, on Friday, October 27, 2023 of Caroline Nugent, Camelot Cottage, Carrickduff, Granard, Co Longford and formerly of Macroom Road, Coolock, Dublin. 
Caroline, loving mother of Wayne and Jeff is very sadly missed by her family, daughters in law Orla and Sarah, brothers Ray and Niall, sisters in law Lisa and Kanchana, grandchildren Louis, Gracie, Max and Jake, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Kathleen Flanagan (née Martin) Aughawillan, Leitrim / Legan, Co Longford


The death occurred peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, in her 101st year on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 of Kathleen Flanagan (nee Martin), Aughawillan, Co. Leitrim and formerly Kinard, Legan, Co. Longford.
Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Michael Martin, her husband Tom, brothers Michael & Matt, sisters Bridget & Mary, nephew Tom & niece Marian. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her daughters Martina (Maxwell) and Anne (Rooney), sons-in-law Seán Maxwell & Peter Rooney, cherished grandchildren Brian, Aisling, Rónán, Dáire, Dearbhaile & Gráinne, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the residence of her daughter Martina & son in law Seán Maxwell in Crockawaddy, Aughawillan (N41 PK88) on Saturday afternoon, October 28  from 3pm until 6pm. (Please access via the Swanlinbar Road (R202) taking the L1371 for Aughawillan). Funeral Mass on Sunday, October 29 in St. Patrick’s Church, Aughawillan at 12.30pm followed by burial in Foxhall Cemetery, Legan, Co. Longford at 3pm approx.

Danny O'Reilly, Mullaghboy, Ballinagh, Cavan
The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of Cavan General Hospital, on Saturday, October 28, 2023 of Danny O'Reilly, Mullaghboy, Ballinagh, Cavan. Predeceased by his brother Thomas, sister Rosaleen (Thomas Cullen). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and neighbours and many friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Finnegan’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Rd Cavan on Sunday evening, October 29 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Removal to arrive at St Mary's Church Bruskey on the Monday morning, October 30 for 11 am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mullaghboy Cemetery.

Des Fallon, Ballyglass, Lanesboro, Roscommon


The death occurred peacefully in the care of Roscommon Hospice on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 of Des Fallon, Ballyglass, Lanesboro, Co Roscommon. Deeply regretted & sadly missed by his wife Maureen, sons Frank and Donal, daughter Vivienne, daughter in law Rachel, brother Joe (Dublin), brothers in law Roland, Dean & Patsy Hanley, nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. May Des rest in peace.
Reposed at Farrell's Funeral Home (N39 E761) on Friday October 27 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday October 28 in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague (N39 HV52) at 12 noon. Colin Heaney, San Diego, California and Kiltycreevagh, Ballinamuck, Co Longford, N39 E9V4

The death occurred, peacefully after a short illness, courageously fought, in The Sharp Memorial Hospital, San Diego on Saturday, October 14, 2023 of Colin Heaney, San Diego, California and Kiltycreevagh, Ballinamuck, Co Longford. Predeceased by his father Tommy Heaney. Colin will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his heartbroken fiancée Jenni and his baby son Cillian, Kyle, his mother Philomena and stepdad Malachy Scott, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and neighbours, both at home and abroad. May He Rest In Peace.
Colin will repose at his mother Philomena's home in Ballinamuck (N39 E9V4) on Friday, October 27 from 4pm until 8pm and on Saturday, October 28 from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place in Saint Patrick's Church, Ballinamuck on Sunday, October 29 at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Ballinamuck New Cemetery.
