The death occurred suddenly, at her home on Thursday, October 12, 2023 of baby Ellie Mae Flynn, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford and is now resting with the angels. Beloved daughter of Jason and Lynsey, and sister to her brothers Jason, Nathan, Kayden and Keelan, and sister Santanna. Forever cherished by her loving parents, brothers, sister, grandparents Jimmy & Jackie and Matt & Bernie, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends of the families.
Ellie Mae will be leaving her home on Sunday, October 15 arriving at St Mary's Church, Granard for Funeral Mass of the Angels at 3pm. Burial afterwards in Granardkille Cemetery. The death occurred, peacefully at home surrounded by her family following a life filled with energy, humour, positivity, and kindness, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 of Mary Ledwith (née Reynolds), Ballinrud, Granard, Longford. Predeceased by her parents Michael, Josephine and her brother John. Mary will be forever remembered by her husband Danny, sons Enda, Donal, Peter and Michael. Daughters in law Amanda, Elaine and Peter's partner Alek. Her brother Eamonn, sisters Josie and Michelle and sisters in law. Reposing in The Manor, Edgeworthstown, on Friday, October 13 from 5pm-8pm. Funeral mass on Saturday, October 14 in St Bernard's Church, Abbeylara at 1pm, followed by interment in Carra Cemetery. The death occurred, peacefully, on Friday, September 22, 2023 of Monsignor Harry Doyle, Retired Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church, Exeter, England and formerly of Ballinulty, Dring, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Maria, sister Maureen Plunkett, Tohernaross, Kilcogy, Co Cavan. Sadly missed by his brother Tom, Ballinulty, nephews, nieces, his fellow Clergy and a large circle of friends. May Monsignor Harry Rest in Peace.
A Mass to celebrate Monsignor Harry’s life will take place in the Sacred Heart Church, South Street, Exeter, on Friday, October 13 at 2pm. Monsignor Doyle will be repatriated to Ireland for Funeral Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Purth, Co Longford N39YX93 on Sunday, October 15 at 1pm. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Kathleen Glennon (née Seery), Rockfield, Streamstown, Westmeath, N91EF68 / Abbeyshrule, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully at the Hermitage Clinic, Lucan, surrounded by her devoted family, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 of Kathleen Glennon (née Seery), Rockfield, Streamstown, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and also Cloughan, Abbeyshrule, Longford. Predeceased by her mother Rose, father Patrick, husband Christy, son Kevin, sister Bridie. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Michelle Farrell (Abbeyshrule), her adored grandchildren Gillian, Shane and Hazel, son-in-law Brian, nephews, nieces, wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of friends. The death occurred peacefully after a long illness, in the company of his loving family, while in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff at St Gladys Nursing Home, Harold’s Cross on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 of John (Jack) Magee, Rathfarnham, Dublin/ Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.

The sudden death occurred on Saturday, September 16, 2023 of Richard (Risteard) O'Hagan in Perth, Australia and formerly of Creesil, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan. Predeceased by his father Aidan, his grandparents Liam & Noreen Hoare (Athenry), Joe & Anna O' Hagan (Longford) and his Uncle Michael Hoare (Swords). Predeceased by his parents Pat and Christina, his brothers William and Rory. Predeceased by parents Agnes and James. Sadly missed by her husband Seamus, daughter Siobhan, son James, sisters Marie Collum, Ballinamuck and Betty Barry, Edgeworthstown, brother James, Creenagh brothers in law Kevin and Michael and sister in law Ann, nieces, nephews, grandniece, grandnephew, extended family, neighbours and friends in both Ireland and America.
