Ciaran Wynne, 55 Teffia Park, Longford Town, Longford


The death occurred peacefully in the tender care of the staff at St Joseph's Care Centre, Dublin Rd, Longford on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 of Ciaran Wynne, 55 Teffia Park, Longford town.
Predeceased by his beloved parents Patrick and Rosemary, his brother Brendan and his sister Rita (USA), Ciaran will be fondly remembered by his nephews, nieces, relatives, and his neighbours and good friends who were there when he needed them most. Beloved by family, Cherished by friends. Rest in Peace Ciaran.
Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church Street, Longford, N39 KN66, on Friday, September 22 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass in St Mel's Cathedral, Longford on Saturday, September 23 at 11am, followed by cremation in lakelands Crematoriun, Dublin Rd, Cavan at 1.30pm. Carmel O'Brien (née McGuinness) Ballyminion, Strokestown Road, Longford Town, Longford


The death occurred surrounded by her family after a long illness on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 of Carmel O'Brien (nee McGuinness) Ballyminion, Strokestown Road, Longford town.
Predeceased by her parents Hillary and Josephine, brother Declan and by her sister Trudy. Carmel will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, husband Michael, son and daughters Helen, Michelle, Peter and Catherine, son-in-law Shane, sisters Rosemarie Kelly and Susan Butler, grandchildren Amelie, Julie, Alec and Evan, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday, September 21 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. The death occurred peacefully in Portiuncula hospital Ballinasloe on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 of Karen McMorrow, Lissoy, The Pigeons, Athlone, Westmeath, N37 VF90. Sadly missed by her loving children Dylan and Megan, her loving father Dan and sister Fiona along with extended family and friends. R.I.P.
Reposing at the family home Lissoy this Thursday evening, September 21 from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday, September 22 in the church of Immaculate Conception Tubberclaire at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully, peacefully, at Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, September 18, 2023 of Michael (Mickey) Bennett, 34 Barry’s Avenue, Tarmonbarry and formerly of Clonmore, Tarmonbarry, Co Roscommon. Sadly missed by his wife Anne, sons & daughters Jody (Longford), Martin (Manchester), Marie & her partner JP, Rose & her husband Richard (Cornwall), Michael & his wife Gillian, Carol Anne, Paula, his grandchildren, his brother Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his residence, 34 Barry’s Avenue (N39PH31) , Tarmonbarry, on Wednesday evening, September 20 from 5:30pm-8pm. Funeral cortège will leave his residence on Thursday morning, September 21 via Clonmore, to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Whitehall, for mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am followed by burial afterwards in Kilbarry cemetery.
