Michael (Mickey) Bennett, 34 Barry’s Avenue (formerly Clonmore), Tarmonbarry, Roscommon, (N39PH31)


The death occurred peacefully, peacefully, at Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, September 18, 2023 of Michael (Mickey) Bennett, 34 Barry’s Avenue, Tarmonbarry and formerly of Clonmore, Tarmonbarry, Co Roscommon. Sadly missed by his wife Anne, sons & daughters Jody (Longford), Martin (Manchester), Marie & her partner JP, Rose & her husband Richard (Cornwall), Michael & his wife Gillian, Carol Anne, Paula, his grandchildren, his brother Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his residence, 34 Barry’s Avenue (N39PH31) , Tarmonbarry, on Wednesday evening, September 20 from 5:30pm-8pm. Funeral cortège will leave his residence on Thursday morning, September 21 via Clonmore, to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Whitehall, for mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am followed by burial afterwards in Kilbarry cemetery. Margaret O'Toole (née Hayes), Churchtown, Dublin / Granard, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of the Mater Hospital, on Friday, September 15, 2023 of Margaret O'Toole (née Hayes), Churchtown, Dublin 14 and formerly of Granard, Co Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael. Adored mother of Sarah, Rachel, Paul (deceased), and John, and granny to Jacob, Locon, Iséabeal, Eli, and Reuben. Margaret will be forever loved and sadly missed by her son, and daughters, son-in-law Johnny, daughter-in-law Veronique, her cousin Helen, brother-in-law Donal, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours. May she Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Massey Bros., Funeral Home, Templeogue Village (D6W AC82), this Monday evening, September 18 from 5-7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning, September 19 to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown, arriving for 10am. Requiem Mass, with burial thereafter in Deansgrange Cemetery. Bridie Gaffney (née Fitzpatrick) Dublin Road, Ballinagh, Co Cavan
The death has occurred of Bridie Gaffney (née Fitzpatrick), The Bronx, New York and formerly Dublin road, Ballinagh, Co Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Michael and dear mother of Bridget, Eileen, Tom and Mike.

Willie Reilly, Hartstown, Dublin / Ballymahon, Co Longford


The death occurred suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 of Willie Reilly, Hartstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Ballymahon, Co Longford. Willie, beloved husband of Sarah and dear father of Jacqui, Dermott and Mick and a devoted grandfather to Liam and Amber. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Karen, sister Kitty, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla Village on Monday evening, September 18 between 7pm and 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning, September 19 to St Ciaran’s Church, Hartstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully at his home, 9 Ard na Sí, Mohill, on Saturday, September 16, 2023 of John James McKeon, Glebe Street, Mohill, Leitrim. John James (formerly of Glebe Street, Mohill, Co Leitrim), is predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, infant daughter Majella, brothers Aloysius (London) Bernie and Tommy (USA) sister Kathleen Kennedy, (Gorvagh) and dear father toMary Ellen Walpole, Colleen O’Connell, Fionnuala O’Donnell, Edel Maguad, John McKeon, Madeleine Murphy and Clare Keville. John James will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons in-law, daughter in law, his fourteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May John James Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his home on Monday, September 18 from 2pm to 5pm. House will be private outside of these hours. Removal arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Mohill, Co Leitrim on Monday evening at 7pm. Winifred (Una) Pilkington (née Madden), Blackrock, Dublin / Strokestown, Roscommon


The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock on Thursday, September 14, 2023 of Winifred (Una) Pilkington (née Madden), Blackrock, Co Dublin, Wellington, New Zealand and Strokestown, Co Roscommon. 
Beloved wife of the late Edward and much-loved mother of Teresa, Michael and Margaret. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, her sister Kathleen, her cherished grandchildren Natasha & Gregory, son-in-law Colm, daughter-in-law Sonia, nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. May she Rest in Peace.
