The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a short illness on Sunday, September 3, 2023 of Oliver Charles, Keel, Moydow, Co Longford and formerly of Aughavas, Co Leitrim.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers Vincent and infant Joseph, sister Monica, grandchildren Ben and Kayleigh.
Oliver will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family wife May, son Francis, daughter-in-law Elaine, his adored grand-daughter Jessica, sisters Maura and Madeline, brother Frank, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Tuesday, September 5 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickedmond on Wednesday, September 6 at 11am, Interment afterwards in Carrickedmond Cemetery. House private please. The death occurred peacefully at home on Sunday, September 3, 2023 of Bernadette (Bernie) McMahon (nee Quigley), Ardandragh, Legan, Longford, N39E2K4, formerly Dunluce Road, Clontarf. Retired NT St Brigid's Boys National School, Killester, Dublin.
Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick, brothers Kevin and Harry. Deeply missed by her brother Brendan, daughters Joan (Keane) and Ruth (Charles), her grandchildren Jonathan, Marta and Lucy, sons-in-law Ron and John, sister-in-law Margaret, her nephew Peter, all her cousins, extended family and friends.
Reposing at her home in Ardandragh, Legan (N39E2K4) this Tuesday, September 5 from 3pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday, September 6 in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Abbeyshrule at 12 noon followed by burial in Abbeyshrule Cemetery alongside Pat. "Until we meet again". Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Parkinson's Association of Ireland, (Carmichael House, North Brunswick Street, Dublin 7).
Vincent & Elizabeth Tierney, Granard, Longford / Killoe, Longford
The deaths have occured of Vincent & Elizabeth Tierney, 39 School Lane, Kettering North Hants NN16 0DH. Elizabeth, on August 14, 2023 and her husband Vincent, on August 31, both surrounded by their loving family. Elizabeth aged 97 (nee Campbell) late of Aughaboy Killoe, Co.Longford and her husband Vincent aged 93 of Main Street Granard, Co Longford. Elizabeth & Vincent will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by their sons Vincent, Val and Laur. Daughters Helen and Elaine. Sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Elizabeth's brother John Campbell and his wife Kathleen. Vincent's sister in law Mary Tierney (Buttlersbridge). Nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends.
A Joint Funeral has been arranged for Thursday, September 7 at 11am in St Edward's Church, Kettering with removals previous evening at 4pm.
Following cremation Elizabeth & Vincent will return to Granard with Mass at St Mary's Church, Granard to celebrate their wonderful, happy lives and burial afterwards to the Tierney family grave at Granardkille old cemetery.

The death occurred in the care of the wonderful staff in Roscommon Hospice on Saturday, September 2, 2023 of Martina Ryan (Cribbin), Ballyclare Court, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon & formerly of Monksgrange, Clonmel, Co Tipperary. She is sadly missed by her loving partner Joe, parents Tom & Marie, sister Claire and her husband James, brother Dermot and his wife Michelle, her adoring niece & nephew Niamh and Conor, Aunts, Uncles, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
