The death occurred peacefully in the care of St Christopher's, Ballymahon, comforted by her sister Carmel, her carers and nephew Niall on Friday, August 25, 2023 of Marian Gray, Tashinny, Colehill, Longford.
Sadly missed by Carmel, her niece Caroline, nephews Niall and Charlie, brother-in-law Charlie, family and friends. Rest in peace.
Funeral Mass this Tuesday, August 29 at 1pm in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickedmond, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Betty (Mary Elizabeth) Kelly (née Killian), Newtown Lawns, Mullingar, Westmeath / Tulsk, Roscommon / Killashee, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar on Friday August 25, 2023 of Betty (Mary Elizabeth) Kelly (née Killian), Newtown Lawns, Mullingar, Co Westmeath formerly of Tulsk, Co Roscommon and Killashee, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband James, infant children Cormac, Marie and Therese, her sister Rose, brothers Tommy, PJ, Eamon and Jerry, and her close sisters-in-law Carmel and Marie Kelly.
Betty will be very sadly missed by her daughter Joanne, son George, son-in-law Adrian Brennan, her sisters; Una (Coughlan) and Margaret (Casey), her brother Jack, her sisters-in-law May, Rita, Josephine, Victoria (Killian), Carmel (Kelly), nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Vigil Prayers will be held at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar at 6pm on Sunday, August 27 and can be viewed online by clicking HERE.
Mass of the Resurrection at the Church of Saints Eithne and Fidelma, Tulsk at 12 noon on Monday, August 28 followed by interment in Tulsk Cemetery. House private please. Family Flowers only.

The death occurred, in her 90th year, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Thursday August 24, 2023 of Mary Jane Nixon (née Cunningham), Kells and formerly of Killeveha, Cloone, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her husband Tom, her sister Eileen and her brothers Eddie and John Tom. Deeply regretted by her son James, Brisbane, Australia, her daughter, Patricia, Isle of Wight, daughter-in-law Robyn and son-in-law Billy, her brother James, Toronto, Canada, her sisters Patricia (Keegan), Kells and Roseanne, Longford, her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces in Ireland and the US, and her very many friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in McEntee's Funeral Home, Kells (A82 K0D7) on Wednesday, August 30 from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning August 31 at 10.30am to arrive at St Colmcille's Church, Kells, for funeral mass at 11am which will be streamed HERE. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. The death occurred in the loving care of the staff of Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday August 24, 2023 of Bernie McDonnell (nee Ward), Drumlish, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Kathleen “Cissie” (Cattan Cross), brother John (Cattan Cross) and beloved partner Jim Dolan (Longford). She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Amanda Murphy (Waterford) and Lisa Quinn (Ballinamuck), sons-in-law Dan and Darren, granddaughters Amy and Lucca, sisters Geraldine McGuinness (Bornacoola), Josephine McManus (Moyne) and Angela McIntyre (Cattan Cross), brothers Pauric (Manchester) and Enda (London), brothers-in-law Vincent, Brendan and Peter, sisters-in-law Jennie and Martina, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and neighbours. Removal from her home on Saturday, August 26 arriving to Saint Mary’s Church, Drumlish, Co. Longford for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballinamuck New Cemetery. The death occurred, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Tullamore Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 of Eilish Mulligan (née McKiernan), Cahanagh, Longford, formerly of Fenagh, Co Leitrim. Retired school teacher (Stonepark National School). Predeceased by her parents Lily and Jim-Joe.
Eilish will be sadly missed by her beloved husband and life long friend Joey, her sister Noreen Burns and brothers Sean and Seamus, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many dear friends. A cherished sister, aunt and friend, Mary's grace and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her. Predeceased by her devoted parents Michael and Margaret, and her brother Joey. Mary is survived by her heartbroken sisters Emily and Jude, her brother Tom and his wife Mary, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sisters-in-law, cousins and friends.

The death occurred peacefully, in compassionate care of the staff at Innis Ree Lodge, Ballyleague on Thursday, August 24, 2023 of Sheila Fannon, Cloontymullen, Kilteevan, Co Roscommon. Much loved daughter of the late Bridie and Pat and sister-in-law of the late Mary. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Anne (Allen), Theresa (Gorman) and Patricia (Kenny), brother Francis, aunt Anna, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, her friends and staff in the Brothers of Charity Community, neighbours and friends. The death occurred, suddenly and unexpectedly after a short illness in London, on Thursday, August 17, 2023 of Gerry Dolan, Callanagh, London and Callanagh, Kilcogy. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Bonnie, his brother Martin and his nephew Marty. Sadly missed by his heartbroken brothers Seamus (Josie), Declan, John (Cathy), sisters Ann (Martin), Brid, Margaret (John), his devoted nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins and special mention to his London colleagues and many friends at home and abroad. His giant presence will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace.
