The death occurred at Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan on Thursday, July 20, 2023 of Andy Brady, Crott, Moyne, Co Longford/ Cavan. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary-Kate, brothers John-Pat and Phil, his nephew Ronan and niece Patricia. Sadly missed by his brothers Eddie (Crott), Francie (Bunlahy), Tommy (Culray), sisters Mary-Ellen Gray (Drumhaldry), Kathleen Scanlon (Athlone), Betty Madden (New York), Bridie Mulligan (Drumreilly), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May Andy's soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Connell's Funeral Home, Church Street, Longford (N39POE8) on Friday July 21 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal leaving Funeral Home via Aughnacliffe/Crott Road arriving for Requiem Mass on Saturday, July 22 at 11am in St Francis Xavier Church, Moyne, Co Longford. Burial afterwards in Legga Cemetery. Family home private at all times. Family wish to thank the Management, Nurses and Staff of Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan for their great care of Andy over the past three years.

John O'Hara, Killasonna, Granard, Co Longford, N39 TP93

The death occurred peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 of John O'Hara, Killasonna, Granard, Co Longford.
John will be reunited with his parents James and Mary, sisters Brigid (Killasonna), Nell Campbell (Streete) and Maureen Prunty (Newtownforbes), brothers Hugh (Coolnagun), Fr Ned (Lisryan & Sacramento) and Fr Michael (Sacramento) and by his nieces Bridget Campbell and Ann Prunty Killian. John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brother Pat (Patsy) (Ballinagh), sister-in-law Maeve, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends and neighbours. May John’s soul rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence in Killasonna (N39 TP93) on Thursday, July 20 from 3pm until 5.30pm. Removal to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Boherquill for prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, July 21 at 12 noon, interment afterwards in St Fintan’s cemetery. Family flowers only please donations if desired to The Laurel Lodge Patient Comfort fund, c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member.

Mary Brett (née Steele) Bauroe, Feakle, Clare / Longford Town, Longford

The death occurred peacefully in University Hospital Limerick on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 of Mary Brett (nee Steele), Bauroe, Feakle, Clare and formerly of Park Road, Longford town. Sadly missed by her husband John, Sons Stephen and Shane and daughter Moya. Daughters in law Yvonne and Orla, son in law Brendan, sisters Kathleen and Ann, brothers in law Oliver, Micheal and James, sister in law Kathleen, grandchildren Emma, Amy, Ava, Ruadh and Isha, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at St Mary's Church, Feakle, this Thursday, July 20 from 5-7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, July 21 at 12 noon and burial afterwards in Feakle Cemetery. Mass will be live-streamed - link to follow. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Clare Cancer Support.

Dympna Lee (née McCann), Loch Gowna, Cavan

The death occurred, peacefully at home in the loving care of her family, on Wednesday, July 19 of Dympna Lee (née McCann), Loch Gowna, Co Cavan and formerly Drumherriff, Tullyvin, Co Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Seamus and sister Rita. Deeply regretted by her family; Stephen (Paula), Joe (Margaret), Michael (Sharon), Dympna (Aidan), Kieran (Caroline). Also sadly missed by her grandchildren; Kerrie, Mikaela, Jamie, Gemma, Brandon, Saskia, Seamus, Colm, Caitlin, Patrick, Kayleigh, Matthew, Marc Anthony. Her great- grandchildren; Evan and Ellie. Her brothers; Joe (Cavan) John Pat (Hull) James (Dublin), Oliver (Dublin) sisters; Sr Christine (Coventry) and Mary (Criccieth, Wales), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and a close circle of friends. Reposing at her home from 2-8pm on Friday, July 21 with removal to the Church Of The Holy Family, Loch Gowna, for requiem mass on Saturday, July 22 at 11am. Family flowers only please. Peter Fegan, Blauvelt, New York / Kilcogy, Cavan

The death occurred, peacefully in New York, on Monday, July 17 of Peter Fegan, Blauvelt, New York and late Kilcogy, Co Cavan. Predeceased by his wife Colette and his son Sean (9/11) brother Bart and his sister Kathy. Sadly missed by his loving family son Peter, daughters Anne Marie, and Catherine, grandchildren, sister Maureen, brothers Brian, Seamus and Noel, daughter in law, sons in law, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace.
Funeral will take place in New York on Friday, July 21.

James (Jimmy) Mulligan, Mount Ida, Cloone, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully at his home in the loving care of his family on Monday, July 17, 2023 of James (Jimmy) Mulligan, Mount Ida, Cloone, Co Leitrim (ex-postman).  Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Mary Kate and his brothers Jack and Eugene. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Joan, his daughter Marie, son-in-law Ollie, grandchildren Chloe and Aaron, best friend Seamus, sisters Rose, Josie and Veronica, brother Tommy, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Jimmy Rest in Peace.
Jimmy will repose at his family home (Eircode N41 KV81) on Wednesday, July 19 from 5pm - 8pm and on Thursday, July 20 from 5pm – 8pm. Remains to arrive at St Mary's Church, Cloone for Funeral Mass on Friday, July 21 at 12 noon followed by burial to the adjoining cemetery. Jimmy's Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/cloone
