John O'Hara, Killasonna, Granard, Co Longford, N39 TP93
The death occurred peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 of John O'Hara, Killasonna, Granard, Co Longford.
John will be reunited with his parents James and Mary, sisters Brigid (Killasonna), Nell Campbell (Streete) and Maureen Prunty (Newtownforbes), brothers Hugh (Coolnagun), Fr Ned (Lisryan & Sacramento) and Fr Michael (Sacramento) and by his nieces Bridget Campbell and Ann Prunty Killian. John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brother Pat (Patsy) (Ballinagh), sister-in-law Maeve, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends and neighbours. May John’s soul rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence in Killasonna (N39 TP93) on Thursday, July 20 from 3pm until 5.30pm. Removal to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Boherquill for prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, July 21 at 12 noon, interment afterwards in St Fintan’s cemetery. Family flowers only please donations if desired to The Laurel Lodge Patient Comfort fund, c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member.
Kevin Trappe, Aughadegnan, Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 of Kevin Trappe, Aughadegnan, Longford town. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, sister Claire and by his brother Mícheál. Kevin will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Maria LA-Rue (New York), Andrea Moran (Castleknock) and Una (Longford), sons Gavin and Colm and their mother Helen, daughter-in-law Deireen, sons-in-law Billy and Brendan, grandchildren Rachel, Alexander, Georgia, Sophia, Ben, Ayda, Bronagh, Lara, Lucia and Isabella, sister Rita, brothers Austin, Thomas, Edmund, Gerard and Eric, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Wednesday, July 19 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, July 20 in St Mel's Cathedral at 1pm, followed by cremation service at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 4.30pm. The death occurred on Monday, July 17, 2023 of Anne O’Hara (nee Egan), New York, USA and formerly of Clondra, Co Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank O’Hara and brothers PJ and Dermot Egan. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Janet, Eileen and Colleen, her sisters Mary, Christine, Emily and Doreen, her brothers Tommy, Alfie, Gerry, Paddy and Kevin, her grandchildren Joseph, Grace, Kate, Andrew, Michael and Jaclyn and a wide circle of family and friends.

The death occurred peacefully in University Hospital Limerick on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 of Mary Brett (nee Steele), Bauroe, Feakle, Clare and formerly of Park Road, Longford town. Sadly missed by her husband John, Sons Stephen and Shane and daughter Moya. Daughters in law Yvonne and Orla, son in law Brendan, sisters Kathleen and Ann, brothers in law Oliver, Micheal and James, sister in law Kathleen, grandchildren Emma, Amy, Ava, Ruadh and Isha, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. The death occurred peacefully, at the Midland Regional hospital Tullamore on Sunday July 16, 2023 of Vincenzo Cristiano, 5 Ardeevan Estate, Ardnacassagh, Longford town and formerly Aversa, Italy. Predeceased by his dear mother Antonietta. Deeply regretted by his loving partner Rossana and their children Rebecca, Antonia and Carlo, Father Antonio, brothers Francesco and Ferdinando, sisters Giuseppina, Ilaria, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Mary Kate and his brothers Jack and Eugene. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Joan, his daughter Marie, son-in-law Ollie, grandchildren Chloe and Aaron, best friend Seamus, sisters Rose, Josie and Veronica, brother Tommy, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
