The death occurred peacefully in the Mater Hospital Dublin surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 of Eamon Egan, Glanmore, Kenagh, Co Longford, N39 E068. Predeceased by loving wife Eithna and their infant daughter Mary, his parents Joe and Winifred Egan, his brothers Francis and Michael. Deeply regretted by his children Joseph, Fiona Brian Edward and Pauline. His brothers Tom, (Castlepollard), Dominic, (Street) and Paddy (Glanmore).
Sadly missed by his daughters- in-law Helena, Lizzie, Susan, sons–in–law Michael Farrell and Damien Drake, grandchildren, Bernard, Grace, Niamh, Aoife, Eleanor, Meabh, Alice, Eddie, Jennifer, Riona, Sean. Nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Trina Carty (Dublin), Rose Egan, Gertie Egan, relatives and his many friends and neighbours. May Eamon Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his residence, Glanmore, Kenagh, Co Longford, Eircode N39 E068 on Thursday, July 13 from 3pm. Removal to St Dominic's Church, Kenagh on Friday, July 14 for funeral mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Carrickedmond Cemetery. Mary Hickey (née Hanley), St Anne's Terrace , Sligo Town, Sligo / Curry, Longford
The death occurred peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2023 of Mary Hickey (nee Hanley), St Anne’s Terrace, Sligo town and formerly of Curry, Longford. Predeceased by her mother Rita and her beloved husband Jimmy. Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Mary and Kathleen, sons Chris, Patrick, William and James, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her 14 grandchildren, brother Patrick, sister-in-law Eileen and her husband Paddy, niece, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Wednesday, July 12 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, July 13 in St Mel’s Cathedral, Longford at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. The death occurred peacefully at his home in the presence of his family on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 of Charles William (Charlie) McCullagh, Lisrhatigan, Coolarty, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford/ Crumlin, Dublin. Sadly missed by his loving partner Ita, sons Derek and Tony, daughters Jacqueline and Diane, brothers Tony and Pat, sisters Maura and Elsie, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. The death occurred surrounded by his loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff of Amberly Nursing Home on Monday, July 10, 2023 of Joseph Hughes, Glounthaune, Co Cork and late of Longford Town. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (McCormack), loving father of Donal, Siobhán, Alfie, Emer, Oonagh, Tricia and the late Cormac, adored grandad “JoJo” to Rory, Orla, Sarah, Kate, Laragh and Conor and dear brother of the late Eileen and Lowlie. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Phil, Paul and Tom, daughters-in-law Angela and Sharon, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death occurred suddenly at Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit on Sunday, July 9, 2023 of Tommy Maguire, Drumbibe, Aughnasheelin, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by his parents Eva and Frank, brothers Patrick and Michael (Mike), sisters Mai, Josephine and Patricia. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Elizabeth (U.S.A), sister-in-law Mary (U.S.A), nieces, nephew (U.S.A), cousins and his many good friends. Rest In Peace.

Dearly missed by her husband Ned, children Julie, Danny, Ed and Pearse, daughters-in-law Mel and Siobháin, brothers and sisters Bernie, Ger, Nuala, Martina, Peter, Chris, Paul and Donal, and grandchildren Maria, Zoe, Finn, Oisín and Cian. The death occurred peacefully at Lough Erril Private Nursing Home, Mohill, Co Leitrim of Eddie McGarty, Adoon, Gorvagh, Co Leitrim. Born June 12, 1930 and passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023. Eddie was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Bridget, siblings, Francis, Michael, Molly, Peter, James (Jim). Eddie is survived by his brother Sean and sister-in-law Patricia. Eddie will be very much missed by all his nieces, nephews, family and friends. May Eddie's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
