Benny is the author of ‘Out on Our Own’ which is a history of the people of Longford, Leitrim and Cavan from the earliest times through to the 20th Century.

The committee looks forward to welcoming Benny to share his thoughts on the famous Battle of Clonfin.

Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Ballymore Clubhouse in Ballybrien and this year local film producers Patrick McGivney and Robert Higgins of Harp Media Productions will show their film on Clonfin on the big screen. This will be an ideal opportunity to see this great production and all are welcome.
