The death occurred, peacefully at the Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 of Gerard Foudy, Canal Court, Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Larry and Rose and by his brother Colm. Gerard will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughter Jennifer, son Gerard and their mother Elizabeth, sisters Mary Dann, Deirdre Clarke, Caroline Herterich, Róisín Doherty and Sharon Mulvey, brothers John, Larry, Tom and David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81), on Thursday, May 18 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Friday, May 19 in St Mel’s Cathedral, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. The death occurred, tragically, on Saturday, May 13, 2023 of Seanie (Bull 1%) Reilly, Cloonaugh, Drumlish, County Longford. Predeceased by his father John and sister Sharon. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Sinead, sons Darragh, Darwin & Peter, daughter Katie, his Mammy Mary, brother Gerard, sister Antoinette, brothers-in-law Sean and Noel, sister-in-law Mary, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, his brothers from the Devils Disciples MC Ireland, relatives, good neighbours and wide circle of friends. Reposing at his home in Cloonaugh, Drumlish, N39 WC93 this Thursday, May 18 from 3pm onwards, house private on Friday, May 19 please, to close friends and family only. Removal on Saturday morning, May 20 to Saint Mary’s Church, Drumlish arriving at 10.30am for Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery, Longford.

The death occurred, at Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow, Co Carlow, on Monday, May 15, 2023 of Frances Kingston (née Neill), Oak Hill Lodge, Newtownsaunders, Baltinglass, Co Wicklow, late of Kilderry South, Milltown, Killarney, Co Kerry and of Tashinny and Rathmore, Ballymahon, Co Longford. Frances Lillian (née Neill) dearly beloved wife of (Rev Canon) Albert (Bertie) and much loved mother of Shirley, mother-in-law of Trevor (Tutty) and cherished grandmother of Emma, Andrew and Sophie, dear sister of Sam and the late William and Marion. Sadly missed by her family, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and former parishioners in the Ardagh Group of Parishes, Co Longford.
Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly, Co Carlow (Eircode R93 C560) on Wednesday evening, May 17 from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by prayers. Predeceased by his mother Margaret and brother Justin. The death occurred, peacefully in the care of Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 of John Joseph O'Reilly, Old Clonbroney House, Clonbroney, Ballinalee, Longford (retired coach driver). Predeceased by his parents, brother Tom and sister Marie. John will be dearly missed and always remembered, by his loving wife and lifelong friend Mai, sons Peter, John and Damien, daughters Arlene (Hughes), Kathy (Gregg), Patricia and Suzanne (Tully), brother Conal and sister Frances (South Africa), sons-in-law John, Richard and Peter, his adored grandchildren Charlotte, Ian, Laura and Abbey, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends.

The death occurred, peacefully at Lisdarn Unit of the Elderly, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 of Kathleen Farrelly (nee Kiernan) of Carrigallen and formerly of Sonnagh, Aughnacliffe and Mullabawn, Arva. Predeceased by her parents Owen and Mary, husband Michael and two infant great-grandchildren Lacklan and Leigh.
Deeply regretted by her family, sons Gene, Mel and Michael, daughters Catherine and Paula, daughters in law Breda and Christina, son in law Sean, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, her loving brother Bernie Joe and wife Helen, nephews Owen and James and extended family.

Mary Kelly (née Yorke), Moydow, Co Longford


The death occurred,  peacefully at Queens Hospital, Romford, Essex, England, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 of Mary Kelly, Upminster, Essex, England and formerly of Liscurry, Moydow, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Kathleen Yorke and her beloved husband Jim Kelly. Mary will be forever loved and deeply missed by her family son Paul, daughters Carmel and Claire, daughter in law, son in law, grandchildren, great grandson, sisters Kathleen Lenehan (Earl St, Longford), Annie Shaughnessy (Ballinalee), bother Jack Yorke (Moydow), nieces, nephews and her many friends. Funeral will take place at St Joseph's Church, Upminster, Essex on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 10.30am with burial afterwards.

The death occurred, suddenly, at home, on Monday, May 15, 2023 of Vincent Feely, Strokestown Road, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon and late of Creeve, Elphin, Co. Roscommon. Predeceased by his mother Bridie, father Jim and sister-in-law Anne. Vincent will be sadly missed by his loving brothers James and Noel, sister-in-law Stephanie, nephew Dean, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Loving son of Mary-Kate and brother of Bernard, Mary (Seamus), Bridie, Kathleen, Christina (John), Seán (Anne-Marie), Eamon (Maria). He will be sadly missed by his extended family, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore,(N41 TD62) this Tuesday evening, May 16 from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning, May 17 from the home of his brother Seán in Altachullion, to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Corlough (H14 VK30), for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass may be viewed on the Corlough-Templeport Parish facebook page.
