Maura Hanley (née Duke), Derrinturn, Carbury, Kildare / Clondra, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully, in her 94th year, at Mullingar Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, March 12, 2023 of Maura Hanley (née Duke), Derrinturn, Carbury, Kildare / Clondra, Longford. Predeceased by her husband Vincent, parents, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by her family sons Peter and Donal, daughters Teresa and Ann, brother Kevin, grandchildren Kenan, Eric and Niamh, daughters-in-law Dawn and Margarita, son-in-law Tashin, Donal's partner Priya, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry, on Monday, March 13 from 6pm, Rosary will be at 7pm and reposing will continue until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 14 at 12 noon in Holy Trinity Church, Derrinturn, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. The death occurred, peacefully in the tender care of the management and staff of Hazelwood, Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, on Thursday, March 9, 2023 of Christina (Chris) Mahon (née Dwyer), 'Forbo', Deanscurragh, Longford Town, Longford and formerly of Tullow, Co Carlow. Predeceased by her loving husband John.
Chris will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children Mary (Dublin), Joe (Sligo), Monica Göbl (Dublin), Tom (Meath) and Cathal (Roscommon), daughters-in-law Carmel, Grazina, Liz and Vera, son-in-law Albert, grandchildren Laura, Mark, Ian, Conor, Karl, Eva, Sarah, Danny, Ella, Luke, Harry, Cara and Elana, great-grandchildren Rory, Luke and Jack, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Maurice, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday, March 12 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Monday, March 13 from the family home to arrive at St Mel’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery. Molly, predeceased by her beloved husband John, brothers; Michael, Packie and Eugene. Dear mother of Mary-Catherine and Sean. Reposing at William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church Street, Kilcock, (W23 XC90) from 4.30pm to 6pm on Sunday, March 12 with removal at 6.15pm to St Oliver Plunkett's Church, Kilcloon, Brownstown, Co Meath, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, March 13 at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, March 9, 2023 of James McCormack, Livingston, Scotland and Kenagh, Longford / Dublin. Predeceased by his father Tommy and nephew Thomas. Sadly missed by his loving wife Imelda, his son James, his daughter Natasha. His Mother Patsy, brothers Tomás, Aidan, Enda, Niall, and his sister Deirdre, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, his aunt and uncles and a wide circle of friends. The death occurred,  at Sligo University Hospital, on Sunday, March 5, 2023 of William Padian, Strandhill, Co Sligo and late of Strokestown, Co Roscommon. Sadly missed by family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Mass of the Resurrection at 10am on Thursday, March 16 in Saint Patrick's Church, Strandhill, Co Sligo. Burial follows in Scramogue Graveyard, Co Roscommon arriving at 12.45pm.

Ann Cullen (nee Thorne), La Montagne, France and formerly Dublin Street and Deanscurragh, Longford

The death occurred of Ann Cullen (nee Thorne), La Montagne, France, daughter of the late William and Catherine Thorne Dublin Street and Deanscurragh, Longford. Ann died in Maulin's Centre Hospital La Montagne, France where she lived for over fifty years with her husband Terry.
She is survived by her husband Terry, formerly of Main St Longford, her brothers Mattie and Frank, relatives and friends.
A commemorative Mass will be held for Ann in St Mel's Cathedral on Sunday, March 12 at 10am.

Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy NÉE Wallace) England and late of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath / Louisburgh, Mayo

The death occurred, peacefully, on Friday, January 13, 2023 of Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy née Wallace), Ruislip, Middlesex, England and formerly of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath and Louisburgh, Co Mayo. Beloved wife of Brian and the late Eamonn and dear mother of Paul and Louise. Noreen will be very sadly missed by her husband and family, son-in-law Gary, daughter-in-law Jackie, her cherished grandchildren Natasha, Heather, Aidan, Pearse and Christy, her brothers Anthony, Stephen and Tommy, sister Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May Noreen rest in peace.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 13, 2023, at 1pm at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Greenford, Middlesex, England, followed by cremation at Breakspear Crematorium, Ruislip. The Mass can be viewed at Our Lady of the Visitation
A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 12 noon in the Church of St John the Baptist, Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath followed by interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.
