The death occurred,  peacefully, surrounded by her family and in the care of the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, on Monday, March 6, 2023 of Mary McManus (née O'Neill), Soran, Ballinalee, Co Longford and formerly of Knockanish, The Spa, Co Kerry. She is predeceased by her husband Christy, sister Peggy and nephew Michael. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters and son Catherine, Mary, Liz and Tom, daughter-in-law Catherine, sons-in-law, her adored grandchildren Michael, Raymond, Tina, Eva, Shane, Luke, Oisín and Cara, granddaughter-in-law Ruth, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends especially James Wrenn (Kerry).
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Rest in Peace Mary.
Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church Street, Longford, N39 P0E8, on Thursday, March 9 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Catherine's home on Friday, March 10 for funeral mass at 12 noon, in St Mary's Church, Ennybegs, followed with burial in St Emer's Cemetery, Ballinalee. Tommy Cowan, Teffia Park, Longford Town, Longford

The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his family, on Saturday, March 4, 2023 of Tommy Cowan, Teffia Park, Longford town. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Annie, brother Paddy (U.K.) and granddaughter Alison. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Margaret, daughters Deirdre Forde and Lorraine Fay, son Martin, daughter-in-law Gillian, sons-in-law Freddie (John) and Vincent, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, relatives and friends. The death occurred, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of TLC Carton Nursing Home (also Lorraine & Dolores his carers from Ann's Home Care), on Monday, March 6, 2023 of Michael (Mick) McKiernan, Raheny, Dublin and formerly Kilcogy, Cavan and Dollymount Inn. Predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen, son-in-law Jimmy, grandchildren Michael and Patrick, brothers Brian, John, Seamus and Bart. Sisters Molly and Nell. Very sadly missed by his children Sheila, Brian, Anne, Noel and Deirdre, son-in-law Kevin, daughters-in-law Janet and Natalia, his grandchildren Shane, Coleen, Sinead, Sarah, Thomas, Karolina, great-grandchildren Katelyn, Lauren, Lewis, Kayla and Mia, his sister Brighid, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours. The death occurred,  peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Talbot Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, March 5, 2023 of Tom Gibbons, Portmarnock, Dublin and formerly of Clooneybeirne, Strokestown, Co Roscommon (Late of An Garda Síochána). Beloved husband of Kay. Predeceased by his parents John and Kate, sisters Una, Nellie and Caith, and brother John. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters Ciara and Kathryn, son John, son-in-law Chris, Kathryn’s partner Brian, John’s partner Ieva, grandchildren Rian and Kate, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. The death occurred, unexpectedly, at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, on Saturday, March 4, 2023 of Rita Fallon (née Casey), Ballyglass, Lanesboro, Roscommon. Beloved wife of Joe, devoted mother to Sean, Kenneth, Helena, Shirley and the late Joe Joe and dear sister of Mickey and the late Patrick. She will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughters-in-law Helen and Rita, son-in-law Derek, sister-in-law Liz, grandchildren James, Joe, Shaun, Érin, Leah, Isobel, Michael and Ryan, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. The death occurred, peacefully, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Thursday, March 2, 2023 of Patrick (Paddy) Kiernan, Teffia Park, Longford town. Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Elizabeth, brother John Joe, infant twin brother Charlie, sister Mary and by his nieces Maura and Elizabeth. Patrick will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sister Philomena Macken (Longford), Kathleen Harton (England) and Ann Joyce (England), brother Kevin (England) nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The death occurred, peacefully at Curragh Lawns nursing home, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 of Francis (Francie) Geraghty, Liffey Terrace, Newbridge, Kildare and formerly of Aughnacliffe, Co Longford. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Rose, Dolly and Breda, brothers Matt and Des, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May Francie rest in peace.

The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by her family in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of The North West Hospice, Sligo, on Saturday, March 4, 2023 of Mrs Mollie Keegan (née Monahan), Drumkielvy, Mohill, Co Leitrim and formerly of Rocullion, Cloone, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her late husband Sean and her brother Pat Monahan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters Sadie (USA), Teresa (Cloone), brother Johnnie (Dublin), sisters in law Mary (Cloone), Mary (Dublin), Sr Rose Keegan (Franciscan Convent Ballinasloe), her nephew Seán, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, godchildren, cousins, neighbours and loyal friends. Ann Cullen (nee Thorne), La Montagne, France and formerly Dublin Street and Deanscurragh, Longford

The death occurred of Ann Cullen (nee Thorne), La Montagne, France, daughter of the late William and Catherine Thorne Dublin Street and Deanscurragh, Longford. Ann died in Maulin's Centre Hospital La Montagne, France where she lived for over fifty years with her husband Terry.
She is survived by her husband Terry, formerly of Main St Longford, her brothers Mattie and Frank, relatives and friends.
A commemorative Mass will be held for Ann in St Mel's Cathedral on Sunday, March 12 at 10am.

Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy NÉE Wallace) England and late of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath / Louisburgh, Mayo

The death occurred, peacefully, on Friday, January 13, 2023 of Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy née Wallace), Ruislip, Middlesex, England and formerly of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath and Louisburgh, Co Mayo. Beloved wife of Brian and the late Eamonn and dear mother of Paul and Louise. Noreen will be very sadly missed by her husband and family, son-in-law Gary, daughter-in-law Jackie, her cherished grandchildren Natasha, Heather, Aidan, Pearse and Christy, her brothers Anthony, Stephen and Tommy, sister Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May Noreen rest in peace.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 13, 2023, at 1pm at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Greenford, Middlesex, England, followed by cremation at Breakspear Crematorium, Ruislip. The Mass can be viewed at Our Lady of the Visitation
A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 12 noon in the Church of St John the Baptist, Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath followed by interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery. In preference to flowers, Brian, Paul and Louise would appreciate donations to Alzheimer's Research UK (JustGiving)
