The death occurred, peacefully in the loving presence of his family and in the kind and gentle care of all the staff in Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 of Stephen (Stevie) Keegan, Old Post Office, Ardagh, Longford / Galway, in his 92nd year, late of Ballinrehan. Predeceased by his adored wife Peggy, his parents Anne and John, brothers John-Michael, P.J., Seamus, Mel and Vincent, his sisters Margaret, Alice, May, Brigid and infant Ellen. He will be most sadly missed by his loving daughter Mary (Hynes), grandson Liam and son-in-law Noel, sister-in-law Peg, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours. Reposing in St Brigid's Church, Ardagh, (N39 Y977) on Friday, January 13 from 6.30pm followed by prayers at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass takes place on Saturday, January 14 at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Funeral Mass may be viewed online here.

Patrick (Paddy) Tighe, School Lane, Rathowen, Westmeath / Longford

The death occurred,  peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 of Patrick (Paddy) Tighe, School Lane, Rathowen, Westmeath/ Longford. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Catherine, sisters Mary and Ann, brother Michael and Eilish. Deeply regretted by his loving children, Suzanne, Paul, Catherine, Damien, Eileen and Padraig, son-in-law Barry, daughters-in-law Catriona and Michelle, his adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Bernadette, nieces, nephews, neighbours and wide circle of friends. Reposing at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford on Thursday, January 12 from 5pm with prayers at 7.15pm. Removal to St Mary's Church, Rathowen to arrive at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, January 13 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Russagh cemetery. Family flowers only, donations to St Christopher's Early Learning Centre, Longford, if desired. House private on Friday morning, January 13.

Teresa McNerney (née Harte), Molly, Aughnacliffe, Longford / Granard, Co Longford

The death occurred, in her 93rd year, peacefully at her residence in the loving care of her family, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 of Teresa McNerney (nee Harte), Molly, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford and formerly Toneywarden, Granard, Co Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter, parents John and Mary Harte, brother Paddy and son-in-law Tony Shannon. Teresa will be deeply regretted by her heartbroken family, sons Pat and John, daughters Hannah, Carmel and Kathleen, daughters-in law, sons-in-law, grandchildren Pete, Anita, Pauric, Shane, Anthony, Stephen, Patrick, Theresa, Jonathan, Tracy and Mark, great-grandchildren Emma, Darragh, Cathal, Clodagh, Róise, Aoife, Kevin, Jane and Caoimhe, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, relatives and her many close neighbours and friends. The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Drumderrig House in Boyle, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 of Sheila McDonnell (née Redican) of Farnaught, Mohill, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her husband Liam. Predeceased by his parents Owen and Alice and his siblings. The death occurred,  peacefully after a short illness, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 of Michael Keegan, Cochrene, Alberta, Canada, and formerly of Faughill, Cloone, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by his wife; Mary and his parents; Thomas and Molly. Sadly missed by his sons Charles, Michael, Shane and Jason, daughters-in-law and partners, grandchildren, his brother Gerry (Faughill, Cloone), sister-in-law Angela, nieces, nephews and extended family. Michael's burial will take place on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. A Memorial mass will be held for Michael in St Mary's Church, Cloone on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 10.00am. 

Michael Patrick Greene, Strokestown, Roscommon

The death occurred, peacefully, in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 of Michael Patrick Greene, of Birmingham, and formerly of Strokestown, Roscommon. Predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Anthony, Tommy, Johnny and sister Mary and wives Kitty and Maureen. Michael deeply regretted and remembered by his sisters Peggy and Nancy and brother-in-law Tom Fisher, and John Orahoe, daughter Pamela, son-in-law Lou sons Kieran and Adrian, daughter-in-laws, Helen and Caroline, grandchildren, Nicholas, Eleanor, Alexis, Talia, Francesca, Marijka, Lorna, Cairstine and Patric.
