The death occurred,  peacefully at his residence in the loving care of his wife Patricia, on Monday, January 9, 2023 of Pat (Paddy) Donohoe, Aughamore, Lisryan, Co Longford and formerly of Albert Road, London SF20 and Derrycasson, Dring, Co Longford. Deeply regretted by his wife Patricia, sister Brigid, sister in law Lily, nieces Caroline, Maggie, Lizzy and Samantha, nephew Bernard, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May Pat Rest in Peace. Reposing at his residence on Tuesday, January 10 with Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Mullinalaghta on Wednesday, January 11 at 1pm. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan H12 RF78. House strictly private please.

Patricia Elizabeth Curran (née Mulligan), Carrickoneilleen, Calry, Sligo / Moyne, Longford


The death occurred, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, January 8, 2023 of Patricia Elizabeth Curran (née Mulligan), Carrickoneilleen, Calry, Co Sligo and formerly of Moyne, Co Longford. Dearly loved wife of Tim and mother of Sheila, Brian and Seamus. Predeceased by her parents Phil and Mary, brothers John (Crott), Phillip (Arva), Pat (Crott), nephew Sean (Crott) and niece Anna Marie Hurley (U.S.A). She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughter, sons, sisters Mary Rose Kerg (Oregon, U.S.A) and Annie Curran (Carryduff, Co. Down), daughter-in-law Evelyn, cherished grandchildren Aidan and Aoife, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (Eircode F91 EH98) on Tuesday, January 10 from 4.30pm with removal at 6pm to Saint Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo arriving at 6.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11 at 12 noon. Burial follows in Clogher new cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed via

The death occurred, peacefully in wonderful care of the exceptional staff in Lisdan Care of the Elderly Unit, Cavan, in the presence of his family, on Sunday, January 8, 2023 of Patrick (Paddy) Masterson, Moyne, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Rose and by his brother-in-law Danny. Paddy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sisters Maura Madigan, Alice Donnelly and Nora Nowell, brothers-in-law John and Dave, his much adored nieces and nephews, Rosemarie, Oona, Eimear, Sean, Michael, Sheila, Kevin, Andrew, Daniel and Mark, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family and a large circle of kind neighbours and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

The death occurred, peacefully, in the loving care of the nursing and care staff of Marie Goretti, Cluain Lir, Claire Centre, Old Longford Road, Mullingar, on Saturday, January 7, 2023 of Bridget Farrell, Rathmore, Aughnacliffe, Longford. Predeceased by her loving parents Denis (Denny) and Elizabeth, her sisters Mary and Elizabeth and brother John. Arriving at St Colmcille's Church, for 11am Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 10 and burial in adjoining cemetery afterwards.

Mary Robinson (née Donnelly), Old Glen View, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath


The death occurred, suddenly, on Monday, January 9, 2023 of Mary Robinson (née Donnelly), Old Glen View, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath.  Predeceased by her husband Michael, father Thomas, mother Josephine and brother James. Loving mother of David, Damian, Derek, Linda and Michelle. Grandmother to Michael, Lauren and Nathan; sister to Josie, Rosie, Kathleen, John, Tom and Pat; sister-in-law to Tommy and Pat Nea. The death occurred, peacefully, after an illness, in the loving care of her family and the matron and staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, on Saturday, January 7, 2022 of Mary Nea (née Moroney), Cluain Mullan, Finea Road, Castlepollard, Westmeath. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Kevin) and son Paul. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Amanda, son-in-law Ian, daughter-in-law Kathy, brothers Nicholas and Dai (England), grandchildren Sarah, Melissa, Kirsty and Eleanor, great-granddaughter Arya, partner Brian, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred, peacefully in the care of Sligo University Hospital, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 of Bridget Rooney (nee O'Rourke) 14 Bofin Avenue, Dromod and formerly of Lecknarainey, Mullies, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her husband Packie (Roe) and son Brendan. Cherished and loved mother of Thomas, Pauric, Joseph and Desmond. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Our Lady's Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton on Monday evening, January 9 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Mullies to arrive at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 10 at 11am burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to the Irish Kidney Association, Leitrim Branch.

Michael Patrick Greene, Strokestown, Roscommon


The death occurred, peacefully, in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 of Michael Patrick Greene, of Birmingham, and formerly of Strokestown, Roscommon. Predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Anthony, Tommy, Johnny and sister Mary and wives Kitty and Maureen. Michael deeply regretted and remembered by his sisters Peggy and Nancy and brother-in-law Tom Fisher, and John Orahoe, daughter Pamela, son-in-law Lou sons Kieran and Adrian, daughter-in-laws, Helen and Caroline, grandchildren, Nicholas, Eleanor, Alexis, Talia, Francesca, Marijka, Lorna, Cairstine and Patric. Great grandchildren, Harry, Rory, Conor and Douglas. Also by his many nephews and nieces.
Requiem Mass on Friday, January 27 at 11:30 am at St Joseph's and Helen's Kings Norton, Birmingham, followed by cremation at Lodge Hill Crematorium, Selly Oak, Birmingham. May he rest in peace.
