North Longford school's innovative fundraising plan for astroturf

The idea for an astroturf area was discussed with the Board of Management as the school

Killeen National School is continuing its fundraising for its astroturf with 'D-Kube'. There is currently a free competition to get tickets for 'Rory Stories' in the Backstage Theatre on September 20.

Anyone who follows, shares or likes the Green Dreams 4 Killeen Astroturf page, especially follows, will be entered. Also, anyone who donates to the iDonate page from September 1 to 14 will be automatically entered as well.

The idea is to increase followers so the D-Kube event is more widely known and the contestant fundraisers get awareness of their fundraising events which will hopefully help them raise the funds. If this competition is successful, the astroturf committee might run another one in October.
