Voices of Longford are to host a comedy fundraising event in the Backstage Theatre. Taking place on Thursday, September 18, the event costs €18 per person and begins at 8pm. Donations are said to be towards local charities, and this new group is a not-for-profit organisation, only wanting to foster talent.

The duo are Edgeworthstown’s Jimmy Jests and Enda Whitney. Enda, described as a “storyteller with a punch,” has performed in Ireland, as well as the UK, South Korea and the USA.
Jimmy Connell is said to turn regular occurrences into laughter, having done many comedy sketches over the years. With quick wit and an Irish sense of humour, he is guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs to the audience.
