Longford will proudly host an Alzheimer’s Memory Walk event this year as part of the nationwide Alzheimer’s Memory Walk supported by Aviva, taking place on Sunday, September 21, in honour of World Alzheimer’s Day.

The Memory Walk is a family-friendly event suitable for all ages and walking abilities to unite friends, families and communities to raise awareness and funds for dementia supports.

Local Champion Eileen Kilbride will lead the Longford Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, inviting the community to gather at The Mall Complex, Templemichael before 11am, when the walk will commence. The route will span a scenic 4km, offering a meaningful way to show support and solidarity.
