The visit offered a valuable opportunity for the Ballymahon Vocational School students to connect classroom learning with the work of Dáil Éireann
Ballymahon Vocational School Transition Year students recently enjoyed a memorable visit to Leinster House, where they gained a first-hand insight into Irish democracy and the workings of the national parliament.
Accompanied by Mr O’Rourke, the students set off early for Dublin for a busy and exciting programme. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with the work of Dail Éireann.
The school expressed its sincere thanks to Longford TD Micheál Carrigy for his invitation and to everyone who helped make the visit possible.
It was a wonderful educational experience that left students with lasting memories and a greater understanding of parliamentary life.
